Bad management. Room stunk of weed

Stayed here 6 years ago and had the worst night ever......heater stuck on full and could not open window as street noise was unbearable. After complaining on and after our stay we were kindly offered a 25% discount and 2 free breakfast the next time we stayed. So 6 years later we gave it another go .....WHAT A MISTAKE. refused point blank to honour the original offer of the discount and breakfast even though I had the original Email offering this. This was because they say the hotel had changed hands since then even though its still called ibis ?.....and on entry to our room it stunk of weed. very very disappointing as far as I'm concerned and could have been handled a lot better

In a very good location (400 m from the main trainstation - "New Street", a variety of restaurants, and scooters for renting nearby). Kind personal (a special thanks to Raju!). Excellent atmosphere. Great reception (thanks to the Portuguese girl from Setúbal). Good rooms: I loved to be here.

Ibis is an excellent option for the solo traveller

I just wanted to share my great experience at the hotel! 😊 From the moment I checked in to having breakfast, the staff provided excellent customer service. My room was surprisingly spacious and I especially loved the bathroom and walk-in shower setup. The continental breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options, including a hearty English breakfast that kept me energized for the day. A big thank you to Raju for his kindness and for letting me know about the option for poached eggs, which I happily enjoyed. 🍳

The room was amazing. A bit small but had all the necessities including a fan, ac AND a hair dryer. The staff, especially Raju, were beyond hospitable. With 24 hour service and security for later nights to ensure safety. Definitely recommend!!

Had a great stay! Security on the door made us feel very safe. The room was clean and beds were comfy. Raju went above and beyond at breakfast to get us whatever we needed. Breakfast was delicious and absolutely did the job. Great service, thank you!
