This is a decent budget-level hotel. I've stayed at IBIS Hotel's elsewhere and was happy with the experience. This hotel has some nice amenities: the rooms are clean and the breakfast (extra €17) was wonderful. The reason I didn't give it five stars is that the rooms are quite small and it is a good 10-20 minute walk to get anywhere (historic area is 15-20 minites). Granted, that's not bad but over 5 days I felt like I walked back and forth a LOT. The neighborhood the hotel is in is quiet and doesn't have a ton of eating options, especially after about 6 or 7pm. Ask for a room not overlooking the next door event venue - there were kids skateboarding fairly late and I wouldnt want to be in my room if there was a concert going on. I used ear plugs nightly for traffic, skateboarding and the sound of water dripping or cycling in my wall (AC system? A leak somewhere?).

However, we regret that some aspects of your stay did not meet the standards you expected. Our central location usually garners appreciation for its convenience, yet we understand that the proximity to the event venue and the city center can sometimes lead to noise disturbances. For future stays, we suggest requesting a room on the backside of the hotel for a quieter environment, as these areas have received additional soundproofing renovations recently. Furthermore, while we strive to offer the most efficient use of space within our rooms, we recognize that some guests may find the room size challenging. Though our dining options in the vicinity are limited after certain hours, our staff is always ready to recommend local restaurants that cater to a variety of tastes and preferences. We acknowledge your concern regarding the sound you experienced, which may have been related to our air conditioning system. While individual room temperature adjustments can be made within a certain range, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will look into the matter. Finally, our hotel's proximity to Antwerp's central train station, public transport, and the Meir Shopping District allows our guests to explore the city with ease. Miła obsługa, super strefa kibica podczas Euro 2024, bardzo dobre śniadania, czysto, wygodnie, chociaż małe pokoje, bardzo małe łazienki.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel at the end of July 2023. It was well situated within the city and was less than 15 minutes walk into the old town. The staff were friendly and as the TV was quite new, you could mirror your phone. There is no parking at the hotel, but there is an underground carpark close by. Antwerp is a lovely city for a couple of days.

Everything was as expected. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly and the hotel was quiet. They have a nice bar with outdoor seating on the ground floor, only the prices there are a little high in my eyes. The location of the hotel is great, in the very center of the city, so that you can explore the whole center by foot.

I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of February/start of March. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the train station and probably around 15 minutes from the cathedral. The room was a good size although the bathroom was small and if I'd had to use it with the door closed it would have been a very tight space. I really didn't like the small space available for hanging clothes but that's a very minor issue. The window in the hotel room opens which is a huge bonus for me as I hate stuffy hotel rooms where the windows don't open. Breakfast was a decent selection and is served in a large area on the ground floor of the hotel. The breakfast area did get very busy while I was there but we sat out in the bar area which was quieter. I'd choose to stay here again on any future stays in Antwerp.
