Ibis hotels are often well-located, clean and basic. This one fits the rule. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the station, WiFi worked well, breakfast was reasonably sufficient and staff (on the whole) were friendly and helpful. There were only a few niggles. I’d booked this hotel as it had a restaurant, but this was closed at the weekend. I asked reception for a kettle but was informed that only the superior rooms had kettles! How silly! A local restaurant was recommended but it was extremely expensive - a main was almost the same price as one night in the hotel! Toulouse is a very interesting city. This Ibis was very reasonably priced (£53 per night with breakfast) and a good place to stay in Toulouse.

Was very happy with my 5-night stay in this ideally-located hotel, which is well situated in terms of access to the airport shuttle and to Capitol Square and the other tourist attractions. The room was very comfortable and well serviced each day. The breakfast was delicious, varied and healthy. Staff members were helpful and friendly

This hotel was a one night stay for our group, and the best part of the hotel was the lovely breakfast offerings. Great space for the breakfast, and I loved the offerings of loose teas. Our room was mostly clean, but our AC did not effectively cool our room. Others in our group had had better experiences with their AC, so I think it depends on the room you stay in. The common areas are quite nice.

I booked a room today through Booking and when I checked in at the reception the employee asked my credit card to debit the €2 tax but she also reserved €15 as a deposit from my account without giving any information before. I find that outrageous and am therefore furious. This is not my first time in Ibis hotels, I have been in Ibis Nimes before and I have not had such a bad experience Room Number : 226 BR, Mohamed Nour

Tiny, tiny, tiny rooms

This is a budget hotel well located in Toulouse. But that's about where the benefits end. I'm used to small rooms in Europe. But this was the tiniest room with the smallest bathroom I've ever been in. You could not open the doorway to the bathroom without moving furniture in the room. Once in the bathroom I had to pull my arms and elbows in to slide alongside the wall to get to the toilet or the shower. And as others mention you flood the bathroom when you shower. There is not room to even turn around in the shower. The bed was old and the mattress not very comfortable. The provided blanket is thin and doesn't provide much warmth. Pillows were thin and provided little to no support. There is no storage in the room anywhere. I was unable to find a temperature control. And there are no other amenities in the room - no kettle, no refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, etc. There wouldn't be room for them either. I decided not to get the breakfast with the room. So I can't comment on that. The front desk service was fine and polite. Room rates are a bit high for what you get. I would definitely choose somewhere else if I were to come again.
