ibis Toulouse Gare Matabiau 3 ดาว

Excellent location, opposite train station. Tea/coffee making facilities would have been appreciated. Friendly, helpful staff & great, comfortable lounge area. Great variety of foods for breakfast, good value for money.

This ibis is really quite shabby around the edges and really can be described as more akin to an ibis budget. The shower was miniature, so anyone + size beware, no room to turn, definitely not a hairwashing shower. Towels were thin, some nice fluffy towels would go a long way. Would choose somewhere else next time I'm in Toulouse

We stayed overnight at ibis because we were taking the train to Barcelona the next day . The hotel is very comfortable and the stay are very welcoming . We had a good night stay at the hotel and the train station was a walking distance from the hotel so was very convenient for us

small hotel across from railway station. stayed fo rugby match. room small, single beds tiny. bar limited,short walk to centre, however adequate for our needs, 15 min by taxi to airport, reception 24 hrs, organised taxi for us, cheaper by taxi for 4 as opposed to getting tram

We stayed here for two nights and as one of our party was arriving by train wanted to make sure we were close to the station. In that respect this hotel is perfect as you can see the hotel from the station exit. Two of us were sharing and had one of the larger family rooms at the front of the hotel, with a double and a single bed. There was plenty of space in the room and the bathroom was also a very good size. I did have a look at one of the other rooms a friend was staying in and it was considerably smaller, with space in the bathroom tighter than I would have been happy with. As I mentioned, our room was at the front of the hotel and this meant that there was (on occasions) quite a bit of noise from the street and also inside the hotel (as the main staircase was just outside the bedroom door). As a Gold Accor member, I didn’t feel that my status was properly recognised, but I have been unimpressed with Accor in all of 2022 in this respect. Whilst I will not actively avoid Accor properties in 2023, my business and loyalty with be directed at other brands. Finally, we very much liked the bar area of the hotel, as it had plenty of space and a relaxed vibe. It was also a sensible place to watch the football World Cup, as local bars were (understandably) very busy! I would not rush to stay at this hotel in the future, but the price and location certainly make it worth considering if you are looking for a simple room.
