My wife and my overseas flight was canceled so our airline sent us to this hotel for an overnight stay. Check in ok, room small, it’s the airport but the buffet at the restaurant included, fantastic! It’s everything you need for an overnight stay

Had an unexpected stay here in late January after a journey from Madeira back to the UK required an overnight in Paris. After flying into Beauvais airport and taking a bus into Paris, we got an Uber to Charles de Gaulles and arrived around 9pm. The reception area was busy when we arrived but we were checked in quickly and then went straight to our room. We were located on one of the upper floors of the hotel, and on entering the room noticed it had a connecting door to the one next door. We were concerned this would lead to us hearing noise from next door, but thankfully the room appeared to be empty and there was no disturbance during our stay. The room was basic but met our needs with a comfortable bed and a small but clean bathroom. We were pretty hungry when we arrived at the hotel and were pleased to see that there are two restaurants on site- we chose to eat in PIA, which served pizza and pasta. We each had a pizza and a glass of wine, and were pleased with both the food quality and the service. After dinner we went back to our room and had an early night as we needed to be up at 5am the next morning. We slept well and after checking out we walked to the VAL station to get to Terminal 2B and our flight to London- within 15 minutes we were at airport security. It was brief, but we enjoyed our stay at the Ibis, and thought it was one of the better airport hotels we have stayed at.

This was our third time staying at this very convient location. It has clean rooms, food and drink available. Staff has always been excellent. The shuttle train to the airport is located in the train depot which is maybe 100 meters away!

Horrible experience, I think one of the worst feelings is being cold and, on top of that, being treated badly. I stayed at the Ibis CDG because my flight was canceled. Air France didn’t give me my suitcase because it was checked in, so I came to the Ibis hotel with just the clothes I was wearing. I called reception five times to report that the heating wasn’t working. Two hours later, a technician finally arrived. He cleaned the filter right in front of me (imagine how dirty it was) and told me it was fixed. It was still cold, so I called reception again to ask for a blanket, which they had promised to bring since my first call. They told me it would be better if I went down to get it myself, and when I did, they handed me a dirty, wrinkled blanket inside a plastic bag.
