Where to begin? I booked a stay at this hotel from the 8th to the 12th of September as a small break for myself, my husband and my mother. Our plan was to stay between two locations that we wanted to visit, Parc Asterix (We are all long time fans) and Paris. After a kerfuffle with a cancelled flight meaning we lost our first night, we finally arrived on the 9th. We waited for a shuttle after being assured when I called reception (Twice. Once a few weeks back to ensure I had the correct information and again the night we had to stay in the UK due to the flight cancellation to double check) that we only needed to head to the pick up point outside the terminal, only for one to never arrive. We waited We called a Bolt, which thankfully arrived in less than 3 minutes. Upon arrival we were met with very friendly staff who were all smiles! I cannot express how amazing the staff were througout our short stay. While English was clearly not their first language, they were always eager to help and were super friendly. Our rooms, while basic, were clean and spacious. We had adjoining rooms with connecting doors, which made it awesome for us to just keep them open and socialise while still being in our own spaces. The decor was fine, though it was beginning to look a little scuffed and dated in places. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were awkward. One felt like memory foam and was quite hard to lay on, while the other was a soft one but small. There was also an issue with the mattress protector feeling like plastic, which made you heat up and sweat more than we all expected. Besides that, it was comfortable. The thermostat was easy to use and we were able to keep our room nice and cool for sleep. (Though housekeeping kept insisting on changing it back to 22 degrees every visit.) The bathroom was a nice size, clean and the water was always nice and hot. The bath was a little small, but it was still useable and worked fine. The only gripe is the toilet paper was a rough, recycled paper that was very fragile and grated against your skin. But it was not a huge problem. Toiletries such as hand soap, shower gel and shampoo were provided and smelled great, as well as felt good, which is a big thing for my extremely sensitive and allergy-prone skin. There was a kettle and complimentary water in a small fridge, as well as tea and coffee. Upside, hot drinks when you wanted. Downside, only 2 coffee sachets (1 espresso and 1 decaf) which tasted horrible and only Early Grey or Verbena-Mint as an option and only 2 sugar sachets. If you want a nice drink in the morning, bring your own, or head to the bar downstairs in the lobby. (The coffee there is very tasty!) And now for the other features. There are vending machines in the lobby in case you needed food when the resturant is closed. These offer snacks such as crisps, chocolate and cold sandwisches, as well as hot options such as cup noodles and even hot sandwiches and pasta you can put in the microwave next to the machines. Prices are what you would expect from a hotel vending machine, not massively bank breaking, but not the cheapest either. The gym is well equipped, though somewhat small. The pool is a nice option in a calm room opposite the gym. The water is kept lukewarm, not hot or freezing and is shallow throughout with a minimum of 1 meter and maximum of 1.3 meters in depth. It was nice to take a swim after a day out, though the pool, while clean, did give off an aged look and could use a bit of an update much like the hallways and rooms. The restaurant served decent food and drinks, though a little on the pricey side. I will be reviewing that separately on the page. (See Gourmet Bar Roissy CDG.) The location, while being told over and over by people that it was in the middle of no where and we would be stranded with no options, was not the case at all! Roissy itself was a very walkable distance and was lovely, with amazing restaurants to enjoy at night with great food. (Turn right out of the entrance and foolow the road to the roundabout and keep going right and you'll find yourself in the village.) Honestly, this location was perfect for our needs and we were able to get to everything we wanted to easily with little hassle after the initial hiccup with our flight and the shuttle. And the aircraft noise? Yes, it is under a flight path, but we were not at all bothered by noise in our rooms. You could hear a drone every so often, partiucularly in the early morning, but unless you had your window open it was no real issue. If you are sensitive to sounds, earplugs may help, but it was really not all that bad. All in all, it was a very nice stay! Pros: - Great location - Peaceful sleep - Amazing staff - Great facilities - Comfortable Cons: - A little dated decor - Shuttle issues (Do not rely on them, have a backup plan) - Communication issues - Pricing on food/drinks could be better - Terrible in room tea and coffee

We checked in after arrival a long flight from the states the front desk that was made by Mansure and Malik were absolutely wonderful, professional, and very informative. They feared us to where we could get a bite to eat, and they offered to get us a Uber. I would highly recommend this hotel. Once we got into the room, the water pressure was great and there was plenty of hot water and the bed was very comfortable. A definite pick.
