4 stars? I think not. First, in order to get to the hotel from the airport, you must pay $5 per person on the shuttle (it used to be free). From the moment you enter the property, it is unkempt. The landscape was full of weeds, trash and unattractive. The lobby is sad, dated, the couches drab, and just a depressing entry. The staff was the only positive. They were very nice and efficient. The room was so dated. The curtains were like a sheet, there are no outlets for the phones next to the bed, dirty carpet, walls were filthy and the hallways looked like a hospital. The bed was fine and the bathroom just ok (stains in the shower). I would never stay here again and even paying one dime is too much than the outragious amount that they charge. Move on to other hotels in the area.

Booked this room on Hotwire after my flight was unexpectedly cancelled. Hotwire said this was a 4 star hotel. It was not. At best, it was a 2 star hotel. The room was old, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart, no soap at the sink in the bathroom, two very cheap pillows, no alarm clock, AC didn’t work, paper thin bathroom towels and the worst part was that this hotel and Hotwire claimed there was a hotel shuttle. When I tried to take The shuttle to the airport this AM, I was informed the shuttle only goes to terminal 2, not terminal 1. If I wanted to, I could take the shuttle to terminal 2 and then walk, and take another train and basically add 40 minutes to the commute to The airport. Shame on Hotwire and this hotel for purporting to have a shuttle.

About what we expected -- just fine

We needed 1 night close to CDG so that we could pick up a friend arriving the following morning. Overall, it was fine. Some of the decor in the halls could use updating, but the lobby and bar/restaurant area felt fairly up-to-date. For the price we paid, it met our expectations. Pros: - Location -- maybe a 5-minute drive to the airport. Wouldn't be great for walking, I wouldn't think/ - The town of Roissy-en-France is adorable, and it's a nice (short) walk through the park to get there. - Front desk staff was friendly and helpful - Bed was fairly comfortable - Breakfast offered lots of choices Could use improvement: - Parking access -- it wasn't clear that we'd need to call to be let in, and that we'd need to pay separately to be let out. Minor things. - The fellow at the bar seemed a little irritated that we were there. It was late afternoon (not yet peak bar time), so perhaps we interrupted his prep routine. But still.....it's always nice to feel welcome. - The "door" -- "wall"? -- on the shower was odd. One of those half-walls that usually start on the same side as the showerhead, except it started from the other end, leaving the side where the actual shower is, uncontained. On the other hand, I didn't need to move my shampoo into the shower -- just set it on the counter. :) Overall, I'm happy to return again if I ever need to stay near CDG -- just with some modified expectations.

The staff is friendly. The rooms are small, I can hear my neighbors, and the bed is not comfortable. I skipped the restaurant as I didn’t want my last dinner in Paris to be a bad buffet. I only stayed here because a use air France canceled a flight and has a deal with them. It is quite a trek from the airport, especially carrying luggage. the last part is outside across quite a large parking lot. the air france team said about an 8 minute walk. it was actually 10 minutes to the train, and then another 10 after the train. with a bad knee, or was a bad experience for me.

Very nice and friendly staff. The hotel is very well placed if you want to get quick to CDG airport. The room is silent and spacious and the décor is nice. The beds are comfortable and but the rugs kind of old and dirty, they have good food. The parking is generous enough but a litlte expensive.
