Hotel ibis Porto Gaia 2 estrelas

I regularly use the hotel for business and always find it friendly and good value. The location is quiet but has lovely views and is well located for taxi and bus connections. The walks from the hotel to either Gaia or the local fishing village of Afurada are easy and then many local restaurants are in easy reach.

Easy to find, great view, nice,helpful staff, free parking and decent room. Simple acces to A1 highway for those who are travelling to Coimbra/Lisbon. Less than 10 minutes to reach old town of Porto - just across the river.

Simple, easy, comfortable, modern and cozy. Ibis has stopped surprising me since I know that I will always be fine.On this occasion the staff has been especially warm but sober, Portugal is like that. Only one fault; The rooms should be a little wider

The Ibis Porto Gaia was a nice hotel to stay at. The staff were nice and friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy as was the room. There was a reasonable amount of parking. It was away from the main town at the top of a hill but the surrounding area was nice and a short walk to old Porto.

Great stay in that very quiet hotel with view of the mouth of the Douro river. Fast to get to the river banks, a bit harder to get back - very steep pathes.Hotel is well landscaped, rooms a very comfortable, great breakfast.For car-less guests, a bit awkward to access public transit.A shuttle service to Porto and the airport servicing all 4 Accor hotels would have been a definite plus.

Good hotel with very profissional people and good location.I apreciated the hotel.I obtained good informations from the reception and also i sleeped well.The check-out runed good and also i apreciated the easy taxi requested.I used on the past the same hotel and also on the past i had good opinion about the same.Also the administration of the hotel help me in some situatios with good and fast answer.Thank you for the service that the hotel team give to the users.

Great Ibis hotel. I use them extensively around Europe, and this is a 9 out 10'er! Updated throughout. Great friendly staff especially Miguel or Manuel. Good breakfast. Only downside is an incredibly slooooowww lift and only one of them.

good hotel, great breackfast and a good plasce in Porto, direct access to the highway$ It's not our first time but allways a good adress. parking space are enought. the reception is open 24 hours and the staff is very fendly

We love it here, the staff are amazing always happy to help day or night. It's good for a few or longer I've done both with and without my kids which they are very welcoming too. Close to shops, cafe etc which is around und 5 min drive away.

The Ibis Porto Gaia is a good hotel, has the standard services and installations available in most of IBIS hotels. It has free parking, which was the key reason for me to reserve a room there. But it is not very convenient for tourists. traffic is heavy near the hotel in pick hours and there is no public transportation available nearby. I ended up moving to Ibis Porto Centro, parked the car in parking lot next to the hotel and was able to sightseeing walking, Anyway, this hotel may be appropriate for business trips.

Brand new hotel. Ibis standards fulfilled. Staff wonderful. Quiet location. Extremely beautiful landscape..all around. Gaia is near Porto and far better quiet. You can walk around Porto and come back to Gaia, to have a dinner more "price-friendly" and still tasty.. Private parking court at Ibis Porto Gaia is free for Ibis guests and this is attractuve also.

Very good experience. The only problem was the climatization system of the hotel. The ar conditioning only starts in summer. Because this in hot days we need to open the window. The breakfast was great. The meals too.

The hotel is easily accessible and has parking - always a big plus. The rooms are clean and comfortable in the Ibis style. Wifi worked well, price was reasonable, service good. In many ways Ibis punches above its weight in the value of their accommodation.

very good service. comfortable accommodation. Food and well prepared and tasty snacks. What could be improved: The doors of the rooms could be easier to open, they are very heavy. The shower faucet can cause burns if someone touches them during bath, heat up a lot. The organic garden is a good idea, they could extend the garden and even use Products in the preparation of meals and snacks, however are just a decorative item.
