We also found a baby pacifier in the room that gives some doubts about the room cleaning. Location was ok. And the room size was good to. We stayed in the junior suite room. Positive was that the minibar was included

We were four adults and two children visiting Miniature Wonderland and the hotel was suitable in all ways. We had one double room and one very good family rooms for two adults and two children. Both rooms were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Disappointing stay

I requested an extra bed for our kids in the reservation. I also wrote a comment with request for extra bed during online check in. We arrived pretty late and the extra bed was not Made?? Even though we requested it twice and Made reservation for 4 persons. We had to want for half an hour before the bed was made. We were not happy!

The staff was great and super helpful. They helped me a lot since my son needed to keep his medication in the fridge. The rooms were ok and clean. The bed was very comfortable and surprisingly also the sofa bed. The only thing I missed was more restaurant and food options. They have a coffee shop that only opens around 10... so you don’t have a quick option for breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location with good pubic transport connections to the city centre and main airport. It is currently being extensively re-furbished with not only new decoration, but also new beds which are extremely comfortable.The staff could not be more helpful or friendly and speak multiple languages. Emily Tiedge is particularly professional and helpful and her excellent customer service is one of the highlights of staying at this hotel. I am based in Hamburg every week for 3-4 nights a week and it makes a real difference to meet individuals like Emily when away from home, where nothing is too much trouble .The hotel is very clean and the restaurant and bar situated looking over a canal.I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located next to a canal which makes it a very beautiful location although it is slightly out of the city center. Rooms are large and staff is friendly and helpful. It is well connected with a metro station a short distance road along the canal. Being out of the city center makes it a peaceful location. However being a business district, the area is deserted in the evenings and night. So I would recommend taking a taxi if you are arriving or leaving late at night.

NIce hotel a bit out off the center ( 10 min ), but friendly staff, when you need info they will give the correct information. Great and clean rooms, Breakfast ok, cold warm, all you need is there.... next time here again !!!

- blanket of the bed too thick (summertime!!! enough additional blankets in the wardrobe) - rubber sheets on the matress (why do some hotels think this is necessary, where other hitels can cope without them? I am not a bed wetting child...and never was) - AC/electricity switched of during the day for cost savings! Couldn’t believe that. - no sweetener for coffee on the breakfast table or at the buffet....had to ask for it every morning - milk for the coffee on the table indtead of cream (a habit that more and more people follow....diluting coffee with skinned milk) - service team too busy at breakfast with removing used plates, etc instead of providing quickly coffee to newcomers (I had to wink at service and ask for coffee every morning)

The Mercure hotel is a nice hotel at the edge of the city centre. We had booked a privilege room. The bed was way too small for 2 adults as well as the bathroom. The room was clean. However hotel staff should not enter the room without checking the don't disturb label at the door and without knocking !!!!! Does not feel good. The staff at the reception desk treats you as a small child, are not so polite and don't look you in the eyes and made a mess of the doorkeys. Finally the staff at the hotel restaurant are incompetent. Many trainees I guess without supervision. Also not very polite, Dinner (fish) was still cold inside. In short, a disaster. Breakfast is excellent with good staff serving you and taking care of everybody. These people probably leave after breakfast !!! because the rest of the day service is really bad.

Good location nice view

We stayed at this hotel while transiting through Hamburg for one night. It has a good location just outside the city center and the room had a nice view. Breakfast and bar were of high quality. Unfortunately the charging of expensive parking in front of the hotel is not guest friendly as parking on the street just outside the hotel is plenty and free.

my favourite hotel in Hamburg, I always stay there when I am in Hamburg. This time it was a private stay - employees extremely friendly and helpful, rooms very clean, breakfast excellent - will return for sure again.

Stayed last week for 2 nights on business. It was as expected, very good. the only pity was not getting a free room upgrade on my Gold card, but as it's free, you can't really complain :-) The location is excellent as it's between our Hamburg office and my customer's office.

I will recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenient position for a visit to Hamburg. The City Hall place was within 15 min. walking distance. There was good parking Places in front of the hotel and in there garage.

Generally a good hotel, but loud!

I reserved a priority room, as I thought this room would be quieter, but upon check-in I was informed that they all face the road. This road is very busy and loud! The windows in the room are also not that great, so that, even with them closed, I heard traffic all night. The room itself is ok. I was shocked by the George Bush picture in Rambo attire across from the bed! Seriously, even if it is satire, it does not belong in a room you are sleeping in! The rest was ok. Nothing to complain about. Room was clean. Bed was a bit soft, but that is probably also a bit of personal taste.

a fine hotel for a work trip, nothing fanciful but the room seem renovated not too long ago. perharp the tv channel varieties and stronger water pressure from the bathroom could improve the overall experience

Worn hotel. Rooms are old and air condition could not cool our room down at all. Got codes for the wifi but ended up having to pay for the wifi. Very poor service. Breakfast wasn't very nice quality. We showed 30 min before closing and a lot of items was emptied and it was not filled up again

During your stay in our hotel, we had a break-down of our ventilation system, that's why the air condition could not work normally. Of course our technicians immediately started repairing the system, but because of the need to change a few items, we had the situation of a non working air-condition. Deepest apologies again. As i just looked up your bill you paid at the check-out, I have to say that there are no WiFi charges on it. After talking to my colleagues from the reception, we did not charge for Internet benefits you didn't even have. Sorry if we presented any discomposure here. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there are further questions regarding this matter. We do our very best to provide a full and high-quality breakfast to all our guests, no matter when they join the breakfast room. There will definitely be consequences because of the non-filling up just before breakfast time ends. Room booked and secured with points and credit card and notified that arrival would be late on Friday night. Upon reaching my destination I was informed that my room was surrendered to another customer. No need to worry, says the receptionist, a room was still available for my stay. At my departure is when shock was on me. The receipt I received was for a more substantial amount that was planned for this trip. Common people plan their vacations on a budget, seems this has caused a burden that I will overcome. Other than the financial issue this motel lives up to expectations.

The price you booked for the superior room was 179,-€/per night with your LeClub rate and you guaranteed with credit card details as well as with 160,-€ valued points. When arriving quite late at night, my colleague from the reception gave you an upgrade to one of our privilege rooms because there was no superior room free anymore. At the end we did not charge any extra fee for having the upgrade, but only the original price of 179,-€/ per night plus parking and one time breakfast. That's what you can see on your invoice. I've stayed here before as it's near our German Office. The Hotel is great, but there is no gym if you want to work out. The surrounding area is inductrial so you have to go into town for bars, Restaurants etc. That said Central Station (Hauptbahnoff) is only one stop away on the nearby S-bahn.

Stayed on a Sunday night prior to a job interview. Paid in advance and, for a very good price, received a spacious corner room on the 6th floor with free wi-fi and mini-bar. Breakfast was included too and covered all tastes and I even found out how to use the coffee machine in the room!
