Good location, disappointing room comfort

I wanted to share some balanced feedback following a three-night stay at Mercure Paris Vaugirard Porte de Versailles. The location is very convenient for the Expo, and I also enjoyed the bar — particularly the freshly squeezed orange juice in my vodka orange, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the room comfort didn’t quite meet expectations. Both my room and the corridor were cold throughout the stay, and the heating didn’t function properly. I raised this with reception each day. On the second day a small portable heater was provided, but it was quite noisy and not practical to leave on overnight, which resulted in broken sleep across the stay. There were also a few maintenance issues, including a flickering bathroom light and a sink that drained very slowly and occasionally overflowed. While these are minor in isolation, taken together and left unresolved they impacted overall comfort. I appreciate that issues can arise, but I was disappointed that there wasn’t a more effective resolution during my stay. With some attention to room maintenance and heating, this could be a much more comfortable hotel, especially given its 4-star positioning and pricing.

อาหารเช้าให้ทอดไข่ดาวเอง ปกติควรบริการ เคยไปพักเครือ Mercure มาหลายที่ พึ่งเคยเจอ เมนูอาหารเช้าน้อยมาก วันแรกไม่มีไข่คน

The hotel is very well located, nearby metro/, restaurants, bars, tramway, and supermarkerts, its bit far if you want to go to the city center but all your transport needed is there. I would like to thank ROSE the receptionist for helping me for my concern and questions you are the best. And thank you whole team for accomdating us very well. Hope to see you all again. Rooms are small and neat, however, hotel not in a very safe area. Very far from attractions so need to take a taxi to visit other places. Breakfast could be more of a variety.

Super helpful and friendly lobby. Absolutely amazing stay 🤩 will be back again! They even told us how to get here and there. This location is so convenient, 1min walk from Metro and bus station. You will never regret staying here!
