Recently refurbished to a high standard. Staff we're attentive and friendly. Rooms clean with everything you need. breakfast was great too. Hotel is just off the A1M. 10 minutes drive to city centre and Metrocentre, 5 minutes to airport. Perfectly situated for business and pleasure stays. Will certainly return

The staff are all terrific the room was very clean and comfortable. And the restaurant served up delicious food for dinner and the breakfast was excellent. All in all a lovely stay . Would highly recommend. And I will definitely be going back.

Outstanding breakfast friendly amazing staff I stayed here few years ago and did not want to come back but well done Novotel this is a complete different place highly recommend to friends food and overall service has improved I am going to b returning

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting friends in the area. The hotel was quiet and we had a lovely room which was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Very good bathroom and shower, big fluffy towels. Toiletries provided. Large car park with easy parking near to the hotel. Fast free wifi. We ate in the hotel the first night and were really impressed with the quality of the food. Definitely not reheated , microwaved meals. My pizza was delicious. Breakfast was good too with plenty of choice. The second night we ate at the Toby Inn next door (2 min walk) because they had an offer on, but wished we had stayed in the hotel. All the staff were really friendly and helpful . Reception called us a taxi to go into Newcastle, which costs £12 each way, but we didn’t want to drive and park. We just found the hotel difficult to find off the roundabout. We could see the sign, but didn’t realise we had to go down a side road. (Our fault). We both said this Novotel was much better than some Hiltons we’ve stayed in, and we would recommend and return next time in the area.

This hotel is fabulous, I believe it is recently refurbished. The room we have is stylish and modern. We were planning to head out for food but weather suggested otherwise. So glad we stayed - the menu was lovely and very reasonable. The food was absolutely stunning and we all cleared our plates (family.of 4). All the staff in the hotel were friendly and attentive. So happy we decided to stay overnight before our flight
