Hotel lobby and bar was modern and welcoming, simple check in quick payment for car park. Quickly fetched a drink to take to our room. Polite staff. Room was an executive room so assumed had been upgraded but wasnt told, thecextra amenties were nice. But a very old room carpet badly stained, shower head mouldy and plug release fell apart! Wood chip wallpaper just isnt pleasant.

The room was nice. Hotel was clean and check in was quick and easy. Location of the hotel is great for shopping and going to the theatre. To top it off the day after at breakfast the service was excellent especially a lady called Shirley who went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy. She really is how customer service should be and being my birthday she even got a cake with a candle to make it extra special and the whole team including the chef came and wished me happy birthday. Thank you Shirley, it is usually sad leaving the day after but you made us all smile 😊

First class service by excellent and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Would give higher rating if not for following problems Room key had to be replaced twice and on three occasions a member of staff had to come and open door. Two other residents on second floor had same problem. No heating in room. Again another second floor resident complained
