Terrible hotel - didn’t get a wink of sleep!

Terrible experience. Plagued by the fire alarm all night, I made a complaint because we didn’t get any sleep and customer service basically just told us where to go. I even raised it at reception where the staff couldn’t have cared less. I will never ever stay at an Accor hotel again. You are better off at the budget hotel across the road. At least there you can actually sleep! Even travelodge is better than this sh^thole. Awful hotel, and even worse service by the management who clearly do not give a s*^t if you get any sleep or not!

Cold and damp room with mould and condensation

Cold and damp room with mould and condensation. On arrival at 3 ish the room was cold (15.5 deg) and the bedding was damp feeling. The room smelt heavily of cleaning product. The heating only improved this to 18 by evening. I raised the issue and was given an extra duvet and a heater. The bedding felt really damp and cold, like when camping! By morning the windows were wet with condensation and the room too cold to have a shower. Rooms have been OK before but this was Possibly the worst hotel experience we have ever had.

Stayed at the Ibis Southampton and had really pleasant experience. The room was tidy, cozy, and had everything I needed. The Staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and always cheerful. Thank you to the whole team for making my stay so enjoyable.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Ibis Southampton. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Good location close to city centre and sea view.Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Sukuni, whose warm and friendly greeting set the tone for the entire visit. I also want to highlight Eleonor and Martyna, who were incredibly helpful when I encountered an issue with my room. They handled the situation quickly, professionally, and with such kindness that it turned what could have been a stressful moment into a positive experience. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly stood out. Overall, the staff made my stay exceptional, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
