Awful has put me off Ibis

We booked in November 2022 and had to request rooms on same floor on arrival and was told it was difficult but very helpful guy did it. Our family room 228 was much too small - you could not walk up side of the bed and no bedside tables, only 1 plug by bed - extension in window by single camp bed Double bed uncomfortable and you had to climb on from.bottom or contort your legs to waddle sideways on one side Single bed was like a camp bed squeaky n very very uncomfortable keeping everyone awake as guest so uncomfortable kept moving. Only 2 cups for drinks supplied .

We spent 2 nights here after we went to the O2 to see Peter Kay show. The hotel is very comfortable, this was a hot couple of days, the air conditioning was fab! The breakfast next door at the Cafe Rouge was lovely.

Very good and convenient location near to Cutty Sark DLR and near to many restaurants. Staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Beds and pillows are good quality and comfy, we slept well. The first floor was quiet. Would recommend as a good value for money, comfortable hotel to stay when visiting London.

Travelled with husband and grandson and had a family room booked for a good price for a Fri night in London. Great location in the town centre, plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Friendly staff who apologised at check in for the delay caused by card machines being very slow. Small room which wasn't a massive deal as we weren't in it for much more than sleeping. TV was glitching/turning itself off, so was unwatchable and after mentioning this at reception a maintenance person had sorted it by the time we came back in the evening. Very dull light in bathroom, not so easy to do make up. The sofa bed for grandson was badly creaky which was annoying and so his movements woke me several times in the night which was annoying. I knew this would be an issue as soon as he'd sat on it and had mentioned this too at reception but hotel was fully booked so no chance to swap rooms. Breakfast was good in the attached Cafe Rouge. Overall I feel it was okay for what we paid. But I could not have managed another night due to the squeaky sofa bed - these need looking at! Definitely detracted from the Sweet Bed promise of a good nights sleep for me :(

Great hotel location and what you would expect from a ibis comfy bed big room. Close to train station and short walk down to the cutty Sark. Will be back in October for a other gig at the O2 . Lots close by to see
