A beautiful hotel located close to the main attraction in Sao Paulo, Ibirapuera Park. It has all the amenities, including ATM. It has two restaurants, a bar, and a cafe. There's live music Wed-Fri afternoon. The rooms are big and well equipped.

Marcos is Amazing!

Marcos in the breakfast restaurant is very kind and attentive. He brought us food from the kitchen and took the time to show us the different types of cheese - even though our Portuguese language skills are poor. Marcos made us smile when he brought my wife a cappuccino (see photo) and these little touches are always appreciated. Marcos is obviously a classically trained waiter and is very professional. His area of the restaurant felt calm and in control which made the busy breakfast period such a better experience. Marcos is a credit to the Grand Mercure and should be used as a brilliant example for new waiters when they are being trained. Thank you!

Excellent hotel and service. Renato in the bar was exceptional with his language skills, and made our experience much easier, particularly as we don’t speak Portuguese. We are on a trip to visit our daughter and he has been so friendly and helpful - a real credit to the hotel. Thank you!

Breakfast buffet is very extensive, there is a lot of choice. Fresh juices, fruit, typical Brazilian food and so much more. Mr Marcos served our table for the period we stayed and he always welcomed us with a big friendly smile and so much kindness. I travel a lot and these little things make such a difference. What an amazing service and waiter. So happy to be here. I travel all over the world but I don’t meet many waiters as him. He makes u feel welcome and gives u great feeling to be there. I can’t wait to stay over and enjoy another drink with him working in the bar.
