The hotel is ideally positioned. Walk out of the door and you are in the old town. The canal runs next to the building. Next door there is a car park; we paid 23€ for a 48 hour stay. The hotel staff were polite and efficient. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean with plenty of space. The shower ran instantly hot with lots of pressure. We did not eat at the hotel so can not comment about food or drink Would we stay again; yes

Spacious and comfortableñ. Perfectly located. Friendly, attentive staff. Can't wait to return. The best Ibis I've ever stayed in. The breakfast was very good, served in a bright, large dining area with views of the canals. A parking garage is available just next door.

The location is great. Right next to the old town and canal. However, the AC in the bedrooms doesn’t get cold enough. And the mattress topper kept sliding on my bed when I tossed and turned from being warm because they don’t us a fitted sheet or anything to secure it. They did not give hand towels. Only one body towel per person. So make sure to ask for and extra set of towels. Breakfast was decent

We stayed here for one night in Annecy and it was a perfect stay. We booked a river facing balcony room which I would highly recommend in the summer heat because it was shaded by the trees and facing away from the sun. The air conditioning kept the room cool enough for us to finally have a good nights sleep in the summer heat. Great location, reasonably priced bar for drinks, very quiet rooms, and a fantastic breakfast. We would stay here again.

Well located hotel with a number of flaws

Stayed two nights. The property is well located within walking distance of the main attractions and several restaurants and shops. Overall fairly quiet. Our twin room was clean, but very small, with a rack for only one suitcase and only one chair for two guests. Power sockets were not well located: only one bed had a power socket next to it. Amenities included an electric kettle, although the selection of coffee and tea packets was poor. No mini-fridge or safe. The mattresses were reasonably comfortable; the bedding consisted of a bottom sheet and a very heavy comforter with no top sheet, forcing us to sleep with the A/C full blast on. Very soft pillows, which flattened like pancakes. Bathroom with minimal or no shelf space. Shower with half door only, good water pressure. The shower drain was clogged when we arrived and drained very slowly; it was fixed the next day. No facial tissue. Breakfast buffet with decent selection. Average wifi.
