Fine Dining in Pattaya

From casual beach club to candlelit French-inspired dining

Pattaya is known for its range of family-friendly activities at wallet-friendly prices. But at the beach resort town, there’s no shortage of fine options for travelers looking for a special dining experience. Check out our choices for some of the best dining experiences in Pattaya.

Seafood Dinning in pattaya

Casa Pascal Restaurant

Casa Pascal is regarded by many to be one of the best restaurants in Pattaya. This elegant little eatery, run by a very welcoming husband and wife team, offers both European and Asian cuisines.
Diners can feast on dishes ranging from baked Alaska scallops with Mornay sauce and hearty Belgian lamb stew to delicious Thai classics like fried rice and noodles.
Other highlights include giant German schnitzels “as large as your plate” and oven-roasted lamb racks.
If you are the type of diner who wants to try a bit of everything, go for Casa Pascal’s decadent all-you-can-eat breakfast or lunch buffet, which includes an assortment of freshly baked goods, comforting soups, plus an extensive variety of Asian and Western specialties.

Mantra Restaurant & Bar

Exuding modern Oriental chic, Mantra Restaurant features a sophisticated scarlet-and-black color palette, extra-high ceilings and walls adorned with artifacts.
The upscale restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining spaces, and its seven open kitchens serve up a tantalizing variety of Asian, Western, Mediterranean, charcoal-grilled, and seafood dishes. Each type of cuisine has its own team of specialized staff and a designated cooking island.
If you’re deciding on which wine to pair with your food, you’ll be absolutely spoilt for choice. There’s a walk-in wine cellar with over 160 labels from all over the world, including bottles of rare Bordeaux.
For a more casual affair that’s in no way any less decadent, Mantra also offers a weekly Sunday brunch with optional wine buffet.

The Glass House

If you would like to enjoy your seafood with an ocean view (who wouldn’t?), then The Glass House is where you need to be. This restaurant on Jomtien Beach offers a choice of dining either on a beachfront patio amongst pine trees, or inside the air-conditioned comfort of its namesake glass house.
Amongst this beautiful beachfront setting, take your time to peruse the food menu featuring over 170 Thai and Western dishes, including fresh and tasty seafood.
For sundowners or after-dinner drinks, sink into one of the sofas at the cozy lounge area, and be lulled by the calming sound of ocean waves lapping against the shore.
The Glass House is a popular eating spot and often draws crowds of locals and tourists, so be sure to book ahead. The restaurant is located about 12 kilometers south of Pattaya City.

Cafe des Amis

For a more traditional fine dining experience complete with white linen tablecloth, refined service and a smart casual dress code, make your way to Cafe des Amis which serves French-inspired cuisine. The restaurant is housed in an elegant Thai-Bali style house with indoor and outdoor dining areas set around a garden courtyard.
Imported steaks play a starring role in the menu, with prime cuts of beef flame-grilled, pan-seared, or roasted to succulent perfection.
Diners hard pressed to make a decision between fresh lobster, oyster, or foie gras can opt for the six-course gourmet tasting menu with a sampling of some of the best the kitchen has to offer.
A well-stocked bar makes sure a fine evening is complemented beautifully with over 300 spirits and liqueurs – including an impressive selection of over 180 gin varieties – as well as a wine cellar with over 60 labels from around the world.

I SEA Sky (The Jetty)

Diners seeking a casual dining experience with serious views should head to this fourth-storey restaurant where – as the name suggests – sea and sky vistas are on full display at every turn.
The menu isn’t extensive, but the tapas, appetizers and main dishes have all been carefully selected, including imported Australian beef dishes, Hokkaido scallops and Tasmanian salmon. There’s also a Surf and Turf platter designed to be shared for two, perfect for romantic dinners and family lunches.
There’s a choice of outdoor and indoor areas, with the space anchored by central bar which shakes up impressively innovative cocktails. For the best spots in the house to catch the sun setting over the Gulf of Thailand, head up one floor to The Jetty.
The restaurant is open for dinner until midnight on weekdays; on weekends the restaurant also opens for lunch.

The Sky Gallery

More than just a restaurant, The Sky Gallery is a beach bar, eatery, coffee and dessert bar all rolled into one, catering to everything from extended lunch with a group of friends to or a romantic dinner with a significant other.
The international kitchen serves a sumptuous selection of seafood sourced directly from local fishermen, Thai favorites and western classics, washed down with fresh juice and crafted beverages from the beach bar.
The peaceful atmosphere here on Pratumnak Hill is very much by deliberate design to create an inviting gathering place amongst natural surroundings for guests of all ages. Low slung sofas and bean bags on the beachside lawn keep guests close to the water level, which draws the gaze out to Koh Larn and Pattaya Bay under the ever-changing sky.
