Tanjong Rhu Bridge
Tanjong Rhu Suspension Bridge is Singapore's first suspension footbridge built in 1998.
The bridge spans the Geylang River, allowing residents of Tanjong Rhu to cross over to the Singapore Sports Hub.
Starting at Tanjong Rhu Bridge along Sungei Geylang, the Tanjong Rhu Promenade leads you along the water’s edge of Marina Reservoir before bringing you to its endpoint at Gardens by the Bay (Bay East), where stunning views of the Bay South Garden and the Singapore city skyline awaits you.
The Tanjong Rhu Promenade plays host to a variety of sporting and recreational activities including dragon boating and kayaking at Kallang Basin, and kite-flying and football at the open fields along Tanjong Rhu View and Tanjong Rhu Place. The wide waterfront promenade is also ideal for walks with families, jogs, bicycling or skating.
While you are there, remember to take some shots of the magnificent view of the bridge against sunset for your Instagram feed.
