Itinerary of the Perfect Luxury Weekend in Noosa

Noosa combines sun-drenched beaches, lush forests and crystal waters that are replenishing for the soul. Considered a foodie mecca, Noosa’s streets are lined with cafes and bars that celebrate local produce and all things fresh, it’s no wonder you’ll be greeted by smiling locals!
If you’re in Noosa for a luxury weekend, here’s our 48 hour itinerary to sampling the best of this quaint little town.

Day 1 - Morning

There’s nothing like freshly baked pastries for an indulgent breakfast. Tanglewood Organic Sourdough Bakery on Rene Street in Noosaville bakes all their breads and sweeter treats fresh each day. Grab a croissant on the go if you’ve had a lazy morning lie in, then stock up on lunch time essentials such as delicious quiches, rustic sausage rolls, loaded salads and of course naked chocolate cookies  for the day ahead.
Clandestino Roasters next door are renowned for their coffee, be sure to have a cup seated in their industrial style café, and another to go to set you up for the day.

Day 1 - Afternoon

No visit to Noosa is complete without a relaxing stroll through their national park. Covering an area of over 4,000 hectares, wandering the tracks can take as long or as little time as you like. Take the boardwalk from the end of Main Beach, past Little Cove on the way to the national park boundary. Call in at the information centre where you can fill up with water and check out the latest koala sightings.
The coastal path climbs up a little, giving a great vantage point to spot dolphins and humpback whales (May - November) frolicking in the crystal blue water.

Day 1 - Evening

For an evening filled with delicious tapas dishes and craft beers on tap, Flux Lounge on Gympie Terrace in Noosaville is the perfect spot. Sweet filled peppers, Parisian style gnocchi, scallop ceviche and shaved sweet potato are just a few of the menu items that delight the senses – try them all for a weekend feast to remember.
With a full belly and the evening drawing to a close, head to Tinbeerwah lookout for stunning 360° views of the Noosa hinterland and watch the sunset.

Day 2 - Morning

Start your second day in Noosa with some rejuvenating beachside or open-air yoga with Santushi Yoga. New yogis fear not, there are beginner’s classes available in addition to the general Hatha Yoga classes.
After your morning stretch session swing past the 10 boutique café on Hastings Street. This local brunch mecca boasts dishes packed with the freshest ingredients, beautifully designed so you can’t wait to dig in. Acai bowls packed with fruit, superfoods and homemade granola, smoked salmon and avocado smash, and a great range of coffees and smoothies put this place firmly on the eatery map.
Stop by for breakfast, stocking up with delicious fare ready for lunch time on the water. If you’re passing later in the day, 10 Hastings boast some of the most delicious cocktails in the region.

Day 2 - Afternoon

Yesterday you explored the land, so now the 48 hour Noosa experience takes to the ocean. Hire a boat with one of the many companies on the foreshore and spend the day dabbling in the water. If fishing is your bag, rods and bait can be rented too. Want to live life in the fast lane? Jet skis can be a great activity for thrill-seekers who want to explore the sea at their own pace.
Once you’ve dried off, make a quick pit stop in one of Noosa’s many art galleries, showcasing works from local creatives and pick up a treat for a loved one back home, or for yourself!

Day 2 - Evening

Peter Kuruvita is an Australian food hero. Growing up in Sri Lanka, Peter has a passion for the Pacific and a love of seafood, creating spectacular dishes that combine fresh produce and modern flare. Peter owns Noosa Beach house on Hastings Street; expect alfresco dining and a lively bar, serving succulent seafood that delights the senses.
For a truly special evening, the degustation menu is a 6 course flavour bonanza with matching wines. Tuck into the delectable snapper curry, butter poached Morton Bay bug tail, duck breast and wagyu sirloin followed by a strawberry frangipane tart with sorbet and meringue for a luxury dining experience that tops off the weekend.
