First things first: the view from our hotel room in Paris was amazing – a close-up view of the Eiffel Tower! We were staying at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel Hotel which was bliss; I've honestly never slept on a comfier bed. In fact we are thinking of asking where their mattresses come from it was so perfect! Wilf thought the mattress also passed the bouncy-ness test, which I'm sure you'll agree is the most important test.
We had a lovely few days in Paris and despite the fact it's the second time we've taken Wilf (last year we went in May) we've still managed to find things to do that are completely different to our first family trip.
On our first day we arrived around lunchtime and made our first stop to take a stroll outside along the grass below the Eiffel Tower. A few streets away is a really family friendly restaurant called Tribeca. We sat outside in the spring sun and shared a large pizza and pasta between us which was really affordable and delicious, plus the staff were super accommodating and child-friendly. Actually we liked it so much we went back there for dinner the next day too!
We decided to take it easy that evening and strolled along the river to visit Tokyo Eat. Tom and I had holiday cocktails and Wilf got a macaron and a hot chocolate, we even spotted a Photoautomat to add to our collection (we found one on our London trip too) so now it's just Amsterdam's photo booth to go!
