After booking this hotel for 15 nights, this would have taken us to 60 nights for 2025 and thus platinum status. However, during this 15 day stay we also decided to pop up to Edinburgh for a single night in the middle of the booking, again staying at an All accor hotel. Rather than checking out here, and then rechecking back in the following evening we just kept this booking and paid for both hotels despite not staying in 1 for that night. BIG mistake - turns out that despite receiving revenue for both bookings, All Accor do not honour status points or nights for any days on OR AFTER this second hotel booking. Therefore, we are only recognised for the first 5 nights here and 1 night in Edinburgh, losing out on the 9 following nights at the Mercure. Falling just short of the 60 night requirement. Customer service has been shocking and rude, and no help. We had planned on being loyal to the brand in the future, but not now. This has ruined the relationship. This massively fails the logic or "pub" test. i agree with the 1 night doubled, but the remainder were genuine nights!!

Food delayed room key wouldn't work next morning, pool had lads splashing not tranquil like i imagined, we had massagre booked that was nice although quried the payment that we made via acorre. Breakfast was nice . Overall our stay wasn't as lovely as I hoped

Rooms are great size, good condition for the age, staff are very friendly, price is brilliant. The pool is very small but adequate enough. Only two down points are you can smell the drains a bit in the bathroom. The pool times are rubbish if you have kids. Kids are up early but you can't use the pool until 10. On day of check out this is such a rush as check out is at 11. The other days we are there to visit family so doing activities. And as children can only use the pool between 10 and 6 fitted this around family and meals for the kids doesn't really leave much time. It would be great if the kids could even be in the pool 9-6:30.
