Requested for a late checkout (1 hour later) for guests with disabilities but they wanted to impose a charge. Slow and poor wifi connection. Road works/construction everywhere around the hotel: extremely inconvenient to get to.

The hotel is well located in the city center, easy accessible from the local transport network. From the hotel you can easy reach the railway station for one day visits to Speyer, Worms and Heidelberg. The room is in very good conditions, the bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom with shower and WC is maintained clean by the cleaning personnel everyday. The breakfast includes a wide variety of options and the breakfast hall provides access to a quiet inner garden/courtyard.

I enjoyed my stay at the Mercure Rathaus in Mannheim. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood but close to the Rathaus Centre and the tram line and train station. The staff were polite, multilingual, and extremely helpful! The cleaning staff were efficient and tidy and the breakfast was really nice. I will be returning to the Mercure Rathaus next time I am in Mannheim!
