The hotel provided a pleasant check-in experience, the room & corridor were notably clean. Plug points were sufficient and well placed. A special thanks to Chef A for his exceptional care and kindness, and to Ms. A Das @reception for her efficient and positive demeanor during check-out. However, there were several issues during the stay. Firstly, the room's furniture, particularly the chair and couch, were uncomfortable for sitting and working. Additionally, the bathroom sink leaked, causing water to spill onto the counter and wet my shirt every morning and night, which was quite inconvenient. The meals at the restaurant were served cold, and the dosa was thick and not enjoyable. The room had an insufficient supply of water, and it often took 30 to 40 minutes to receive additional supplies after requesting them. At check-out, the absence of a bellboy to assist with luggage was disappointing, leading to a 15-minute wait before I handled it myself. The overall coordination among staff members needs improvement.

I had good stay Novatel. But I need to share few bad experience at IBIS & NOVATEL with Ground staff ( Joel). First of all he should be trained , how to deal with Customers, especially visitors. He's very arrogant and indiscipline. Im having the video proof which he had behaved with me during my stay, which I can submit during next stay. If such kind of attitude to be continued, I will recommend my company ( Synergy Marine G.) not to give bookings for Novatel and IBIS. I'm Senior Chief Engineer and I'm with company for Past 10 Years. I never ever faced this kind of attitude person in my Career. I'm requesting Seniors ( General Manager) to take necessary action against him. Disappointing Breakfast Experience

My recent stay at Novotel Chennai OMR was pleasant overall, except for one disappointing experience during breakfast. While the ambiance and service throughout the hotel were commendable, I encountered a lapse in hospitality that I feel compelled to address. Upon entering the restaurant for breakfast, my family and I requested a high chair for our 4-year-old from a staff member named Swamy. Initially, Swamy informed us that the high chair was occupied but assured us he would arrange one for us shortly. However, as we settled into our seats, I noticed an unoccupied high chair in the corner, unused at any other table. Feeling puzzled by Swamy's response, I approached another waiter and inquired about the availability of a high chair. To my surprise, the waiter promptly provided us with one. This inconsistency left me questioning the basis of Swamy's assertion that the high chair was unavailable. What disappointed me even more was that Swamy did not make any effort to follow up or check on us to ensure we were comfortable without the high chair. It was a clear oversight in hospitality and left a sour note in an otherwise pleasant dining experience. Overall, while I enjoyed my stay at [Hotel Name], I believe that attention to detail and consistent customer service, especially during meal times, are crucial for maintaining high standards of hospitality.
