Hi My name is Rahul and we checked in room 130 for one night on 25 April 2024. I booked directly through IBIS App. The heater was not working the whole night and my family started sneezing and having cold now. Please fix the heater and do not let out the room before you fix the heater as it is essential. Also the television TV in the room 130 is not working The TV cable slot is broken I am very disappointed with IBIS budget and this is the first time I had such a bad experience I spoke to Priyanka the manager before I checked out and she told that lBIS will refund half of the charges back to me. But today I got email that the refund decision was declined as I did not call someone in the night itself. I am disappointed by the decision by IBIS Newcastle for such a small amount of money by such a big hotel chain. I am very dissatisfied by the decision to decline the refund after being told that IBIS would refund . Please do not rent out room 130 before you address the issues. Please refund 50% room charges as soon discussed and more importantly fix the issues mentioned ASAP I have wasted enough time in address hotel issues which are genuine and important. I may have to make complain to ACCC regarding the issue. thanks Rahul

When booked in bed had been made but room was very filthy, I am a motel cleaner and it had not been cleaned there was so much mould in the room. It smelt and dust and fluff all over everything. It had not been wiped in a good 4-5 days. I asked for cleaned products and wiped it myself. It had not been vacuumed. Tea and coffee facilities not cleaned or restocked and they booked me in as if the room had been serviced. I had read prior reviews but was shocked at the state they are letting rooms out in. They definitely need new cleaning staff. Room 135 needs to be stripped and treated on the walls and everywhere for mould. this is a health issue! I took photos of the room. When I told them they asked did I want someone to come clean it. Apparently someone already had so I asked for chemicals and cloth and cleaned the surface areas myself. As I had already paid and I would not have gotten my money back to book an alternative motel. I will not stay at this motel again and I am very disappointed in the Accor group actually I am very surprised that this is an ongoing issue for them. The management needs to fix this or Accor need to get a new manager who will. I have stayed at this motel at different times over a good 20 years and NEVER have I ever seen it in this dirty condition. The people that run this place should be ashamed of themselves for renting out dirty rooms to paying customers. The health department should be going over this place.

Room small, shower, toilet hard to move in. Air conditioning not working. Upgrade room better, but shower head holder not working. Friendly staff.
