Although we stay in lots of hotels within this group, usually Mecure, Novotel, MGallery, and Pullman we often find that the Ibis hotels are often the most satisfying and so it is with this one. No-frills…yes, but both the ‘Styles’ and ‘Budget’ hotels are just so convenient. The situation of this one, so close to the Central Station, the Garibaldi Plaza and yet the backstreets are a maze of restaurants, convenience shops, laundries etc that are ideal for the traveller. A great breakfast option with friendly and welcoming staff, the 24hr bar/cafe option, the alfresco area and if I had shoes that needed shining…a shoe shine machine! The rooms were comfortable and roomy enough to be suitable for extended stays with the mini-balcony making it feel like the homes in the same street.

Excellent location near the train station and the airport bus stop. Good breakfast. The train line runs right next to it, it can disturb some rooms, even though the train traffic stopped at night
