Grace fue estupenda en la recepción, nos ayudaron mucho porque perdimos una maleta en el aeropuerto, un hotel de 10, si es verdad que el gimnasio es un poco pequeño pero el bar en la piscina fue muy bueno y los cocktails son excelentes, todo el hotel muy agradable

Vi bor på Novotel Kata Avista och har bott här i ca 5 dagar. Jag har tidigare bott på åtminstone ett par Novotel. Efter att ha läst alla fina recensioner bokade vi och en annan familj detta hotell. Vi önskade att få intilliggande rum, vilket de ordnade, detta uppskattades. När taxin närmar sig hotellet kom första insikten, att hotellet låg uppe ovanför en brant backe på ca 200 meter. Jaja, lite träning utomlands var ändå vad vi ville tänkte vi. Vid ankomst till hotellet bjöd entrén på en välkomnande känsla. Stor skylt med ”NOVOTEL” och det var ingen tvekan att alla taxi visste om hotellet, ett väl renommerat hotell. Vi hade rätt höga förväntningar på detta hotell. Då det var högt rankat här och 5-stjärnigt, samt hyfsat högt prismässigt. Vår generella upplevelse: Blandad. Hotellet lever väl ändå upp till 5-stjärnigt mått rum- och tillbehörsmässigt. Men skulle INTE säga att det lever upp till våra förväntningar vi hade efter att ha läst recensionerna. Pros: Fint och stort rum. Familjärt. Tar hänsyn till barn då man får ett litet tält och bäddat med sängkläder för barn. De flesta av personalen väldigt trevliga. Speciellt tack till han som lagar omelett på frukosten. Läget är bra, men också jobbigt med den branta backen. Personalen i receptionen var bra! När jag hittade en blodigel i sängen, tog de hand om det bra. De såg till att rummet grundstädades och tvättade även kläderna som igeln hade satt sig på. Dessutom kom de med Lego till barnen och kompensation. Cons: Receptionen ej luftkonditionerad, vilket jag tycker är synd. Det är annars en fin reception med sittplatser, men när man tagit sig upp för backen och är supersvettig, skulle det uppskattats med luftkonditionering i entrén. Rumsstädningen är högst måttlig. Dels känns den rätt opålitlig om den blir av. Första dagen uteblev den. För att inte den ska missas sa jag till varje dag vi gick för frukost och då blev den av. Åtminstone alla förrutom en dag då de ändå inte hade städat. Jag hittade en blodigel i sängen under täcket en dag, oklart om vi hade dragit dit den eller om den kom med i städningen. Vi hade bara varit i en shopping mall den dagen. Frukosten är lagom i storlek, för 5-stjärnigt skulle jag säga att jag haft betydligt bättre frukostar än här, både i varietet och i kvalitet. Kommunikationen kan vara rätt frustrerande och tidskrävande på engelska. Således inte riktigt så bra som våra höga förväntningar. Dels hade vi nog rätt otur, dels finns det saker som kan förbättras. Men personalen i receptionen, tror de hette Bee och Tina, skulle jag säga vägde upp till betyget 4 av 5.
