The Hotel has well appointed rooms with plenty of room for 2 and extremely helpful staff. We also loved the location - walking distance to the Archaeological Park and short distance to Hop on Hop off bus stop to be able to see Syracuse. We found the breakfast amazing -in fact it is the best we have had anywhere in Accor hotels in Italy. Evening meals very reasonably priced and great choice. Only complaint is a very tight car park to get into and park outside.

We stayed at the Mercure for an extended amount of time due to family illness. The receptionists and all the staff could not have been more helpful. They extended our booking many times and helped with taxis and other logistics. There is a lovely breakfast and also a rooftop pool.

We chose this hotel primarily for its free private parking and closeness to the Archaelogical Park. The 20 minute walk to the nucleus of city centre restaurants and Ortigia island was no hardship. The modern hotel had every facility catered for including roof top swimming pool, restaurant and spa. Our spacious bedroom was attractively decorated with comfortable king sized bed, fridge, large safe and full size walk-in shower. The buffet breakfast covered all our needs with the warm artisan croisants particularly appreciated.

I chose this hotel because it’s close to the Greek Theatre. Convenient, clean, with a rooftop pool: everything as expected. I found the idea of carving out the bathroom in a corner of the room and enclosing it with a glass wall (compromising privacy significantly) quite bizarre. The free parking is definitely inadequate, but we had been warned about this. Functional for Greek tragedy enthusiasts.

Very good hotel, staff were friendly, helpful and professional with a special mention to Elena the most cheerful person to have around at the large selection breakfast - Thanks Elena. The hotel is well sited only a short walk from town and the aerchaeological sites Greek and Roman Amphitheatres, restaurant serves great food and a good range of drinks, I would highly recommend this hotel.
