Great start to holiday.

Stayed for 1one night pre holidaytrip. Straitforward check in staff polite and respectful. Rooms basic but very clean and super comfy bed. Perfect stop over for an early flight and very close to the departure lounge at Birmingham. Enjoyed a nice meal served by Veer, all staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Overall perfect for our requirementss thankyou

The hotel was superb and Veer who served us in the restaurant was exceptional and a credit to Ibis. Its not often you come across a young man with such a nice manor. The food was extremely good and a quick service from order to table. We often travel and will have no hesitation staying at Ibis again.

A mixed stay

I stayed here for two nights and checked out this morning (09th May). I had one room in the Ibis Budget and one room in the regular Ibis because I'd had to unexpectedly extend my stay. The woman who served me at check-in wasn't at all friendly. She didn't smile, welcome me to the hotel or wish me a pleasant stay. I don't think she wanted to be there. I wasn't made to feel welcome. She still wasn't friendly when she gave me my second key yesterday either, although she did recognise me from the previous day. All the staff members could definitely do with being a lot friendlier. A smile and a polite greeting go a long way. My budget room was the most basic room I've ever stayed in but at least it was clean and I did manage to get a decent night's sleep, despite it not being soundproofed. I was disappointed to discover that there wasn't a hairdryer, which I'd expect even in the most basic of rooms. My regular Ibis room was MUCH nicer in every aspect and in my opinion is worth paying the extra for. I had the House Salad in the restaurant on my first evening, which was just alright, nothing special. Service was also very average. I don't recommend eating here. *FOR THOSE WITH SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS* Both the fries and the sweet potato fries are cooked in the same fryer as everything else, meaning that although they are advertised as vegan, they are in fact cross-contaminated with everything else and so are not vegan at all. As someone with food allergies and numerous food intolerances, I had very limited options on the breakfast buffet. They provide an allergen menu on request. There were no fried eggs provided during my stay. The scrambled eggs and hash browns both contain milk. If I stayed here again I'd pay extra and stay in the Ibis not the Ibis Budget. I'd also consider taking my own breakfast.

Great service from Vishnu super start to our holiday, we stay at the ibis every time. Service was very prompt, friendly and efficient- thanks Vishnu, we’ll be back next time we’re on holiday. It’s great to have a hotel so close to the airport with great prices and service!

Stayed here for a gig at the NEC the lobby is very nice and we were impressed for a budget. Rooms are a little dated. Do NOT eat here the food is really over priced and poor quality reminded me of a work canteen or school. Just walk down to the NEC where there is plenty of good options. Also no bacon at breakfast not a happy boy.
