The whole stay was really very good. All in this hotel works as it should. The staff members are really polite, the reservation team work to their best (Violetta), the cleaning team do a grand job. The rooms are clean and cosy, and the breakfast is really plentiful. Nothing to fault. Other hotels should learn from Torun Mercury’s experience. Thank you.

If you Stop Over over in Torun to visit this outstanding town, the Mercure hotel is a good option. The room and the comfort are almost the same good standard of any Mercure in Europe, breakfast okay and inside parking available. But the real plus is that is very close to the city center and easily you can go everywhere being at walking distance. Enjoy your stay here !

1. Hotel is very dated 2. The air-conditioning system is so old doesn't work properly 3. The windows open fully and wide, ok if a responsible adult, but a child could open and fall to their death 4. When booking bed and breakfast not all kids eat free. In the very very small print all kids over 12 had to pay for breakfast at 50% before you are allowed your room key at check in Would I stay here again? No

I can understand that arriving at 2:20 p.m. the room is not ready because the policy is from 3:00 p.m. I booked a suite, and I think it might have been ready at that time. What I no longer understand is that there is obsolete furniture in a suite, and even less in the Mercure chain... What I no longer understand is that in the living room there was a spider, and in the bedroom a very large spider, which I had to kill to be calmer sleeping. To make matters worse, the next day I left early, I had to get up before 6:00 and I could barely sleep because there was a DJ playing loud music, right below, in the Conference Room, until 2:30. I had to go down to complain at 1:45 and I complained again when I left but no one offered me any type of compensation in this regard. Today is the first day I connect to a computer, so I keep complaining, and I will continue complaining if I don't receive a satisfactory response.
