A great hotel, well situated to town but as other reviewers have noted coming back from town you do need to walk up a steep incline. We stayed in a garden view suite, which was spacious, comfortable and clean. Great views from the restaurant, with great food. Lovely breakfast. Polite and helpful staff except on the front desk where you ask a question or make a request at your peril. Would have got 5 stars except for front desk staff.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and even served a welcome drink from the bar. The service is exceptional, including asking about dinner and offering assistance with luggage. We then went to our room which was a lake view with a balcony. Perhaps our only criticism of this hotel would be that the balcony itself is slightly questionable. It is effectively a ledge that you can step onto. Certainly not enough room to sit outside. Aside from that the view is incredible and the rooms were lovely. Shower was a bit fiddly to start with. We had room service our first night there as we were exhausted, so can definitely recommend the food. The reception staff were very helpful, even facilitating fairly random requests like ear plugs. There is parking on site, which you do have to pay for, unless you are lucky enough to find a free space on the road outside. It is well located, a short walk (albeit downhill so you have to come back up!) from the town centre, so easy access to excursion shops, restaurants and bars.

服务一般，位置还行，早餐一言难尽 服务的问题在于很多细节做的很难讲，比如两人入住欢迎饮品送一瓶奶。打扫的时候很多东西没清理掉，没补充。 位置最大的缺陷在于那个很高很高的坡，爬的人膝盖痛。 早餐就有的讲了，六点半开餐，没人告知我们热食得等到七点才有，而我还要赶车，简直恶魔。七点才有热食就算了，我下单超过了二十分钟才有菜陆陆续续的上来。早餐品类极其一般，自助类目比四星的还好少，也就单点的蛋档和pancake能吃点。

During our recent stay at St. Moritz, my wife and I were delighted to find that the service and ambiance remained just as exceptional as we remembered from previous visits. Our room was simply stunning, offering magnificent views overlooking the lake. Enjoying a glass of Pinot while watching the sunset was a highlight of our stay—truly unforgettable. Breakfast was satisfying, and the coffee was exceptional. While we didn't have dinner at the hotel due to the restaurant being fully booked each night, we did spend some evenings enjoying drinks in the bar. The team there was fantastic—warm and welcoming. Although the wine list was somewhat limited, it featured a good selection of Pinot Noir, fitting for the Central Otago region. Overall, we would definitely choose to stay at St. Moritz again, as it undoubtedly boasts the best location in Queenstown. My wife loved the hotel scent so much she bought it at the local shop in town!

Lovely, but steep, Boutique Hotel

Stayed a week in early May. It is the shoulder season, so no crowds or traffic and prices are very reasonable. Very good location, 10-15 mins walk to the waterfront and CBD shops and eateries -BUT the hotel is up a very steep hill. You can't walk up if you have health or disability problems, and they desperately need main-street-level access; like QT/Rydges next door. Not an issue if you have a car. The local bus service is excellent and cheap, especially if you buy a BeeCard. Hotel is classy, spacious and well equipped. Room clean, comfortable and very smartly decorated. Very good restaurant, especially the breakfast buffet. Staff friendly and helpful.
