Nice hotel in an amazing location - arguably the best in town. Perfect for families with young kids as the beachfront playground was outside our door if you're in the wing closer to the beach. However, hotel did not communicate that we needed to reserve parking and when we showed up after a LONG flight, they left us to fend for ourselves to find street parking during a very busy week. We stayed for 4 nights and no parking was available during the time. The front desk should have communicated to guests at time of reservation to also make reservation for car parking. When we checked in, the front desk made it seem like it was pretty frequent that valet parking runs out sounds like this is a common issue. Given price paid, I would have expected better communication on this point

I really love the location of this hotel. its very near by the river bank and to the market.. Rooms are good... Really love the hospitality especially Mr. Pradip at front desk who guided very well and Mr. Karan(with long moustaches) at bar counter who is very professional in his work. He made made very good cocktails for me, really like his behavior towards the customers, really appreciate genuine guy...

极个别欧裔员工态度欠佳,整体酒店老旧,达不到4星标准,我们一家大小4位,如果是说没法early check in, 态度尽量缓和一点,不是亚裔都喜欢占便宜,我们对你们的期望也没有很高,就是睡个觉而已,可惜sofital一个房间没法2大2小,不然首选还是sofital, 作为金卡会员,没有任何欢迎,连欢迎饮料都是另一位男同事看我们在大堂呆的很疲惫才给我们2张饮料券做补偿,同时还承诺行李送至房间,感谢那位印度裔男员工。还有就是check out那天早餐是不包含的,这让我非常诧异,新规定吗?我定的房间是包含早餐的, anyway,要而外付钱也无所谓了,高潮部分来了,check out时间是11点,我们吃完早饭是10点30准备回房间收拾行李走人,谁知道门卡竟然回不了房间了,问了Housekeeping Team 让他们开房间门,他们不让,让我去前台问问,去了前台说明情况,他们又把我钥匙激活了,我们才得以回房间拿行李check out,请问我们是那么想滞留在你们房间么? 一直以来我只住雅高集团的5星,索菲特 费尔蒙和 莱佛士都是我的首选,我认为酒店也是旅行之中很重要的一部分,直接关系到整体的体验,不得不说这次是真的让我很不满,一分钱一分货,我不要求多,至少大家都体面一点。

这次总共订了三晚的住宿,因航空公司天气的原因,航班迫降到新西兰的其他城市。我们第一时间跟酒店沟通修改订单,但是酒店不愿意,非常没有人性化。同时在入住登记时,当班经理谎称没有高楼层,把我们安排在地面的楼层,后面经过交涉才安排在之前已预定的顶楼。房间打扫也非常匆忙,我们早上出门的时候挂牌要求打扫,下午回来的时候还没打扫,后来在我们休息的时候来敲门要求打扫,我们只好离开房间,非常的令人不舒服。甚至在用早餐的时候,要求我们已经准备要入座的餐桌让给西人,明显感觉带有种族歧视。我们在以后出行的时候将会考虑是否再入住这种酒店。

My wife and I had flown in from Melbourne and stayed at Novotel. It is very centrally located in Queenstown, very near downtown and lots of shops, and yet, it did seem like it was in a relatively quiet area of town. It took about 5 minutes to get to the heart of shopping centers, restaurants, and cruise ships. Room seemed so nice and clean. Not that we used it, but we were surprised that there was a bathtub - first one after 15 days in Australia! And ... a first for us: Heated towel rack! Oooh, on a cold day or after a shower, it feels so good against the skin! One item that is missing are electrical outlets near the beds - they're across the room! Why doesn't a hotel place electrical outlets by each bedside? Another problem: if you are using an electrical converter, many of the outlets are very close to the "On/Off" button, so if you push the converter too high and/or high, it's turned off! You'd think that the "On/Off" button would be positioned higher so the electrical converter would affect it, Breakfast was about 'normal' for hotel - nothing unusual or outstanding. Service people were very friendly and helpful.
