A good stay but with a few things that could be improved

Parking: $25 night; nowhere to stop to check in to arrange car park access  Room:  - Good size - Nice kitchenette. Seating provided but not ideal for dining  - Bar fridge with small freezer that was iced up (staff did help to clear it but it took a long time with a hair dryer and a lot of towels) - Washer dryer in cupboard with washing liquid provided - Large Bed. It was like a trampoline when my partner moved. The sheet quilt sheet arrangement was strange and not pulled up high enough. Two fat pillows per person (a thinner one would give guests a choice) Bathroom: Bulk shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and body lotion provided Shower. Good pressure, no door knob made shower access difficult (reported but still not fixed so we had to get creative with some floss and a cotton tip) There are no instructions for anything. eg microwave, washing machine  Big tip: the air con is disabled automatically if the window is open Location: Walking distance to war memorial, Canberra Centre, lake

Serviced apartments are ok, but not what I needed on this trip

The first thing you need to know is that this is NOT a hotel - it's serviced apartments with limited hours of reception 8am-10pm and no hotel facilities e.g. breafast, The website blurb includes "The hotel is pet friendly, etc" which is misleading. I wanted a hotel for this short business trip and I wanted parking. At 10.30pm you have to ring someone to get a security code for your key. The first number I called went to a voicemail, the second was answered. Parking is only available during reception hours, so I was stuck with street parking and had to sort the Sebel parking early in the morning, before I started work. The two staff members were excellent, but I wanted a hotel and I wanted to park on arrival after a long solo drive. Very average Accor, the only saving grace your on-site staff.

Recently stayed for 3 nights while visiting Canberra. The hotel is centrally located and not far from local attractions and close to Bus stops. Studio room has an excellent bathroom with a rain shower head, everything you need - galley kitchen, table, desk, with a view over the internal garden, The bed was comfortable, and the room was well presented. NB Parking costs an additional $25 per day!

Noisy and Tiny rooms

The construction near by makes it unpleasant before 3 pm. Room was pretty tiny. I would not stay again. Plenty of better places. Zero atmosphere compared to other Sebels. Parking and access difficult. Rooms well equipped. You get the idea.

We chose this dog friendly hotel because we were staying in Canberra to attend the Floriade Dogs Day Out with our pooch. We stayed in a large self contained suite on the Mezzanine level with a lovely view of a beautiful courtyard. It had everything you could possibly need if you want to be self sufficient during your stay (just no room service). We chose to eat out and were spoilt for choice with so many dog friendly cafe's and restaurants, all within a few minutes walk. The hotel is located across the street from a large park where dogs were able to run and play unleashed. Parking is under the hotel at $25 per day with a lift that takes you directly up to the hotel's Reception desk. The gentlemen at Reception who checked us in and out were warm and welcoming and we really look forward to staying at this hotel again.
