The Novotel is a great addition to Devonport. Rooms are great especially on the river side with great views of the Spirit of Tasmania. The restaurant is fantastic and good value . The only downside is parking and the check in process if you have a car. There is very limited space in front of the hotel for dropping off bags which is a problem because the parking garage is a few blocks away. There is also no assistance with luggage when you arrive. If they could fix this issue then the hotel would be even better.

Excellent hotel very convenient to the Davenport docks after arriving on the spirit of Tasmania All the staff were excellent and respectful we really enjoyed the in house food and hospitality

We stayed here for four nights, and were quite happy with the room and service. Being Accor Platinum we had breakfast included in the rate, and that included coffee as well.. which was a nice touch. Breakfast was sufficient, with a range of items on offer We also had dinner in the restaurant on two nights (and used our Accor Plus discount). Both meals were good, sufficient quantity and great service. Valet parking at $25 seemed a bit steep, and we opted to use the $10/day car park just up the road, which the hotel organized for us. All in all, a great stay with great service, in a hotel in a good location

Stayed for one night after a day medical procedure in Devonport. Very nice hotel with lovely accomodating staff. Great location in the town centre. Bed was comfortable and the room ambience was really nice. Great view over the town from my room. Shout out to the two lovely ladies in the restaurant who made the best coffee and looked after me while I waited for my room to be ready.

No free car parking on premises so I wouldn’t choose this venue for overnighting for ferry trip.

We stayed at the Novotel in November and was shocked that they charged $25 for valet parking otherwise you have to go to the local city car park 200m away.Not ideal if you are overnighting with luggage in your car .Also sounds from nearby nightclub were banging away until 2:30am heard on the 5th floor.Location is great.Only 8 car pick up drop off area which makes it hard if you have to unload ,take to your room,then move your car☹️.Rooms were clean and functional.
