A wonderful stay in an exceptional location

We were very happy with our stay at Cradle Mountain Lodge and stayed in a spa cabin. The cabin was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with a wood-burning stove, a jacuzzi bath and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The service throughout was very good – staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The surroundings are truly exceptional, and the lodge is perfectly located for walking and exploring the Cradle Mountain area. I was quite surprised by some of the negative reviews on TripAdvisor. This really is a place to switch off and enjoy nature – if your idea of a holiday is sitting on your phone or watching TV, this may not be for you. If you do want screen time, it’s worth downloading films before you arrive and embracing the remote setting. When we weren’t walking the many well maintained footpaths we enjoyed watching the wildlife on site, the many Pademelons, Echidnas, Wombats and Platypuses. The only downside for us was that the tavern was extremely busy on our second evening. It appears to be very popular with people not staying at the lodge as well, and we couldn’t get a table there. However, we went to the main restaurant without a booking and were pleasantly surprised to be accommodated despite it being busy. The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful. A final bonus was the availability of laundry rooms on site, which was incredibly useful after nearly three weeks of travelling and gave us the chance to catch up on washing. Overall, a fantastic stay in a beautiful location, and we would recommend.

Rien à dire sur le lodge, accueil parfait compréhensif avec un francais parlant un anglais moyen, chambre très propre avec cafetière nespresso, bouilloire bref il ne manque aucun accessoire par contre, nous avons décidé d’aller dîner à la Taverne. Nous avons commandé une bière au comptoir en disant que nous voulions dîner de 2 burgers. Après 1 h d’attente toujours pas servi et en questionnant un serveur on nous répond qu’il fallait commander en même temps que la boisson donc en tout nous avons attendu 1h30. Heureusement qu’une française en working holidays est venue de la cuisine pour nous expliquer.

Hotel imperdível! Tivemos a sorte de ganhar um upgrade para a cabana King Belly, no meio do mato com direito a lareira e ofuro. Local lindo e muito diferenciado. O restaurante também é muito bom e tudo fica no meio do parque, é possível sair do hotel para as trilhas. Experiência única de contato com a natureza e muito conforto.

Hospedei-me 2 noites no Peppers Cradle Mountain e foi tudo incrível. Os chalés são lindos, super rústicos, mas extremamente confortáveis. Todos os detalhes são pensado para o conforto extremo de quem passa o diz fazendo hiking nas montanhas ou apenas para quem busca romance e relaxamento. A falsa lareira é um charme e o aquecimento funcionou perfeitamente durante toda a estadia. Cama muito confortável e chuveiro muito eficiente, com muito água. O café da manhã é espetacular com produtos frescos e regionais. Enfim, se a Tasmânia por si só já é maravilhosa, as Cradle Mountain são imperdíveis e esse hotel é apenas a cereja do bolo. Não consegui ver wombats dentro do hotel, mas vi no estacionamento do Devils @ Cradle. Dias perfeitos!

Situado dentro do parque com as trilhas mais lindas! Excelente localização! Aconchegante.... Super recomendo!!! Super charmoso.... Eh possivel ver diversos animais no lodge: wallabies, echidnas, passaros e wonbats! vale a pena se hospedar la.
