Hidden gem in Southbank.

Hidden in Southbank behind the Langham, this hotel is close to everything- all Southbank has to offer as well as the pedestrian bridge across the river. It is well priced and whilst there are minimal bells and whistles, it is clean and well run.

Not refurbished - very poor in every respect. One human on check in with rest kiosks. Not 4 Star. Room tired. Bathroom old and poor layout. No amenities for gold plus. Had to ask. Understaffed breakfast, bar and reception. Rather like the Marie Celeste in the evening. No one on reception and bar closed at 8.30pm.

Great location in Southbank next to the Eureka tower. Compact rooms but has everything you need. Good breakfast included. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location the best just off Southbank boardwalk and right on footbridge across from main cbd. Recommended stay in Melbourne.

Our family were very happy with our stay at the Mercure Southbank. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was quite nice. Not extensive like some places but a nice variety to suit most. Staff at book in we very courteous and helpful.
