Raffles the Palm in Dubai is a beautiful opulent hotel. From our arrival to departure it was a real pleasure with all the staff being so polite and attentive. We stayed in the club rooms which had the benefit of butler services. Both Isuru and Jerry were great and nothing was too much trouble. Not that we called on them often but when required they were efficient and always cheerful. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, the rooms very spacious with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The pool area was very chilled Would definitely recommend and will stay here again if we go back to Dubai

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Matagi and were very satisfied overall. We shared a variety of good appetizers, a large sushi platter, several main courses, and two desserts. Everything was well prepared and nicely presented, and the quality throughout the evening was very consistent. What stood out the most was the excellent service, especially from Rehan, who was attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. His service really made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. All in all, it was a great experience with good food, very good service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We would be happy to return.

We visited as part of our honeymoon, and after seeing how beautiful this place looked in photos, we had very high expectations — which were fully met and even exceeded. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Although I do not know his name, a very tall gentleman wearing a cowboy hat greeted us with such a cheerful and friendly attitude that it instantly lifted our spirits. The beautiful room, delicious food, and stunning night views will remain wonderful memories for us. We were also deeply impressed by the kindness of the staff at the fitness center. In addition, during check-out, a staff member named Ezekiel came to collect our luggage, and his energetic and joyful personality was contagious — it truly brightened our day. Overall, it was a joyful and happy stay, and one we will always remember fondly.

I have visited over 50+ countries, so i consider myself well suited to objectively evaluate this property. Let us address the aesthetic elephant in the room: this is not "quiet luxury." The interiors are unapologetically baroque, a riot of gold leaf and crystal that arguably borders on the ostentatious. However, unlike the neighboring hotels: Atlantis The Royal—which possesses all the intimate charm of a busy railway station—or the original Atlantis, which now feels fatigued and dated, Raffles manages to make its grandeur feel deliberate rather than desperate. It is opulent, yes, but comfortably so. The property’s true triumph, however, lies outdoors. In a region where landscaping often feels synthetic, the gardens here are a genuine reprieve. To wake to the sound of birdsong and stroll through grounds reminiscent of a petit Versailles is a luxury that strictly glass-and-steel establishments cannot manufacture. Operationally, the hotel is sound. The service felt unscripted and genuine—a rarity in Dubai’s often transactional hospitality sector. The culinary offerings were laudable, and the housekeeping, impeccable. There are, naturally, caveats. The beach is functional, not photographic; one must remember this is the Persian Gulf, not the Maldives. Furthermore, while the environment is generally hushed, the evening entertainment does occasionally bleed audibly into the guest rooms. A note on the demographics: the clientele is heavily skewed toward the Russian market and presents a stark contrast to the surroundings. There is no air of quiet wealth here; the crowd feels decidedly pedestrian, lacking the rarefied, elite atmosphere one encounters at the Banyan Tree for example. It is a somewhat middlebrow assembly set against a backdrop of imperial ambition. Verdict: For those willing to forgive the rococo interiors and an uninspired social milieu, Raffles offers a price-to-quality ratio that is difficult to fault on the Palm. It is a well-oiled machine wrapped in gold foil—superior to its neighbors, provided one does not expect the guests to match the furniture.

We had a beautiful stay in this wonderful hotel. The building itself shows an impressive style, the stuff is very well trained and very friendly. We could also enjoy the offered Butler-Service, especially our Butler Don took care that we could even more enjoy our holidays.
