Checking into the hotel was super quick and easy, the only thing i would comment on is the lack of information verbally given about the facilities but it is already written down for you on the card they provide. Staff are always nice and friendly and always greeted you when entering/leaving the building. They also provide umbrellas which are nice and sturdy for rainy days!
The hotel itself is really nice and modern inside, our room was on the 8th floor facing the buildings out the front, but we could never hear anything from out there. You couldn’t hear any noise from outside the hotel room which was really nice and allowed us to sleep well. The room was always cleaned and the cleaners did a good job of making sure it was spotless. The hotel provides towelling robes and slippers which is a nice touch. The TV in the room was really good, it had wifi you could connect to and YouTube which was nice as we could listen to music while we got ready for the day. There was an option for bed and breakfast which we didn’t take so I cannot comment on the food, but i’m pretty sure it shares the same dining facilities as the Tribe next door and the same bar and gym.
The only negative I could comment on is he fact that at 7:20am on the friday morning, we were woken up by the hotel fire alarm blasting through the speakers in our room. We had to go through the fire escape down 8 levels and once we reached the reception area absolutely nobody was down there and everybody was just going about their day? Very confusing, staff didn’t even acknowledge that it’d happened so no idea what actually went on, but it left us very confused lol.
Just opposite the hotel there is a small corner shop. About a 10 minute walk away there is a small shopping square called Boven’t Y, it has a handful of supermarkets which was handy for getting a few snacks for the room and water, and there were some fast food places like McDonalds and KFC. There’s also a small station shop in Noord station. When it came to checking out, we left our luggage with the receptionists in the luggage room as we had a late flight back so didn’t need to be at the airport until a lot later in the day. The staff were very kind and accommodating even tho we had checked out, and even gave us a bottle of water for the journey home.

One major thing i can comment on is how good the transport links are around the hotel. We booked this hotel as we previously have stayed in the Tribe, which is next door, and liked the area and the distance from all the main places in Amsterdam. We got the to the hotel using public transport - train to Centraal station from the airport, then Metro 52 to Noord (last stop). This hotel isn’t far from Centraal or Dam Square, but it’s obviously not within walking distance from it. If you walk out the front of the hotel and turn left, about 30 seconds down the road you’ll find Station Noord which takes you straight to Centraal Station (or further) within 10 - 15 minutes, if that. The Metros at this station are pretty regular as well so you don’t have to do much waiting around for them, and we found ourselves frequently using it to go and and forth and have a break from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam in the day. I would 100% recommend getting the travel passes from Centraal Station, it cost us €37 each for 144 hours and it allows you to freely use all of the Metros, Trams, Busses and Ferries which is extremely helpful for getting in all the fun activities done that are around Amsterdam.
I would 100% recommend anybody to stay at this hotel and would definitely revisit if i came back to Amsterdam for a third time.
