Amazing view of the trains from family rooms

We travelled to and from Amsterdam by train so the location within Centraal Station was perfect. I’d emailed beforehand about an early check in as we came in on an overnight trai and joined the loyalty scheme as suggested. The receptionist was very helpful but not hopeful that it would be possible but there was one available which was brilliant. We booked a family room with our teenagers that cost €320 for 4 of us for 1 night. There was a double bed and bunk beds, the beds were comfortable and the room was just about big enough but we literally only slept and showered in there. All the family rooms are on the first floor and the windows look out directly onto the platform and trains in the station! If you have kids ( or adults) that love trains would recommend these rooms - the y are pretty well soundproofed so we weren’t kept awake by the trains and it was fun to watch them come and go! The location was excellent we walked everywhere in Amsterdam and it was very easy. There’s a left luggage room and lockers for valuables if you want to leave your luggage on the departure day. Excellent service, good breakfast, all very convenient.

Staying here at the moment. Check in was very anal, literally had to wait until exactly 1500 to get the room keys even though the rooms were ready. Had to go up one lift to fifth floor then cross a bridge and up another lift to floor 9. Room is OK if a little small. No fridge. Windows only open a tiny crack so no fresh air in room. Rooms are stifling hot so to try to cool them you need the air conditioning on full which is really noisy and then keeps you awake. Breakfast is a good selection. Views from our room are very good. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again due to the hot and stuffy room.

Good location, clean modern rooms

The hotel is well located a short walk from Amsterdam Central Station and 5 minutes into the rest of the city. It has comfortable, clean rooms and communal spaces with modern decor, which are a good size even when sharing a twin room with a friend.

Very nice hotel for a few nights and a few minutes away from the train station. Very nice scenery and very nice rooms. Easy check in and out and really close to everything to do in Amsterdam and gives a map of where everything in Amsterdam is that you need to see

Pleased by the warm welcoming of a beauty at the desk named Glennisa. She gave a very good support with a smile to us especially to my kid. Room is extraordinary with a river view. The interior is awesome. Staff at receiption are helpful and are ready to assist all the time to explore the city.
