Stayed here for 3 nights, 4 adults checked in 17th December. Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome and a glass of bubbly. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even asking if we needed any attractions booking. Both rooms were stylish, spacious and spotlessly clean - the housekeeping team did a fantastic job - even arranging bubbly and balloons for our Sons Birthday. The hotel is in an excellent location for the Metro into Centraal station, just a few minutes walk. Also very convenient for cafes and convenience shops. We will definitely stay here again.

Only the location is perfect otherwise I consider it as 1 or 2 stars hotel , totally self service no one will help you with your luggage you take the trolley you put you luggage you take it to your room by yourself then you return it back ! No slippers No phone in the room ! So you can’t contact the reception I don’t recommend it specially its a 4 stars hotel but no services !!

Very good hotel situated conveniently near the metro station with easy transport into Amsterdam centre. Much better value for money than staying in the centre. Cosy and clean. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection, and high quality. The only reason why I marked this down is because we were placed in an accessible room which we did not request. The bathroom was adapted for accessibility with no bath, and had a wet room shower, with a fabric shower curtain. When booking pictures of the bathroom show a bath with glass panel. I can’t stand fabric shower curtains in hotels, they are unhygienic and stick to you which is disgusting. I get the impression we were put in this room after someone else complained as the name on the tv welcome screen was the wrong name.

Updated to a bigger room upon my arrival. Spacious, clean room and its perfect location right next to the Metro (just a 2-minute walk!), making it so easy to get to train station or all the major tourist attractions in the city center without any hassle. Breakfast buffe ok with many alternatives. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I will be booking here again on my next trip!

Part of up-and-coming Amsterdam North the Mercure Amsterdam North Station Hotel offers excellent value on the dollar. Part of a concrete building built into Noord Station a trip to Centrum is always less than 20 minutes by bus or train while the surrounding area is quiet. Rooms trend small but with all the essentials, though WiFi is quite spotty and slow at times. Kudos to the shared Gym, open 24/7 and spread across two floors in the adjoining hotel.
