Located at the Melton Entertainment Park. We arrived quite late and the main check in counter was closed but a staff member was able to check us in after we buzzed for service. The car parking is complimentary and there is plenty of it. The room was large and beds comfortable. I was surprised that a simple breakfast was included. This consisted of cereal and toast, basic but enough for us to start our day. Easy to find and close to main roads.

All the staff, from the reception to restaurant, were extremely friendly, going out of their way to assist us. They even had a complementary breakfast, which we did not expect, but what a cost saving. The hotel room and hallways smelt fresh and clean every day. Would definitely go there again, really homely feel.

Warm welcome on arrival. Room was large and clean. Bathroom, with a bath, was huge. We had room overlooking track, which offered excellent views. As hotel is attached to trotting track, with sportsbar/pokies, dining is available. Bed excellent. Room very quiet when racing had finished. Highly recommended.

would never stay again nor recommend - a real let down being an Accor member for many years.

The room was spacious and bath was great and there it ends - we stayed 4 days. Spare blanket and pillows just thrown in to cupboards, no glassware, tea bags not replaced, Staff lacking knowledge about facilities, compendium out of date with misleading information - no mini bar, no shuttle - no breakfast, no lunch, dinner disappointing as main served before entree finished, staff disinterested, no warmth about the place, placed well away from any activities. And they take a security deposit to boot!

The mantra is located at Tabcorp, the Victorian Harness Racing facility, with loads of parking, though not sure how much there would be if they were holding an event on the day of your stay as there is no dedicated hotel parking. There is also a pokies venue attached to the hotel. Room was a good size, bed was not bad, tv not the biggest but not too small, just, that you can't see it from the bed. Bathroom was big with a bath and a great shower... the shower felt like a massage, nice. Check in was adequate, just friendly but not welcoming which was disappointing. Reception closes at 7pmnso good luck if you have any requests or issues after this time. Breakfast consists of a choice of one of two prepackaged sets containing a cereal, milk, small muffin or muesli bar and a fruit box. Not sure how many preservatives are in the muffin as the best before date was later this year. The lobby has a coffee machine and tea for free so you can help yourself. Much nicer than the instant in room. Accor Member Info No upgrade on the room unfortunately or welcome amenity or bottle of water upon check in. We did get drink vouchers as an afterthought when I queried breakfast. Next morning I queried the welcome gift and water, guest services officer was much nicer and apologised for the lack and promptly went to get it for me. She came back with a bottle of water and a stubbie holder. Very disappointing. Also offered were 2 extra drink vouchers and late check out of 12pm by way of apology. For a one nighter it ticks the boxes for a 3* hotel. As platinum ALL it sadly fails with status perks/rewards and recognition.
