We spent our mini-moon here and loved it. First class service, delicious food, beautifully designed suites, incredible landscape and landscaping. Lovely spa. I can't comment on the golf course because we don't play but it looks great. We will be returning.

Fabulous rooms and service. And a wonderful massage. The food was varied and excellent. It was nice to able to have a bistro style meal or a fine dining experience as well as just a few tapas at the bar. Breakfast everyday was also varied. We stayed a week and dint get through any of the menus

outstanding attention to luxury in rooms and throughout. Spa is fabulous. Staff could not be more attentive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious, ovelrlooking Andalucian sunrise, what's not to love? Bar is lively and elegant. Perfect after a day enjoying the amazing local golf.

Poor service and experience but a lovely property

Whilst there is no doubt that this is a lovely property, there needs to be greater focus on service and better staffing. During a recent golfing trip visit the Spa was shut all week, all the pools closed, and several of the restaurants mothballed. We saw a lot of residents walk out of restaurants and the IXO bar due to poor service, and when we tried to bring certain matters to the attention of the hotel reception the staff simply shrugged. Heard a lot of complaints about cold food at breakfast, and the hotel shuttle too, although we had been warned about the latter in advance and hired a car to get us to various golf courses.

Literally EVERY member of the staff was super nice, forthcoming and supportive. Especially I would like to thank the Spa and Fitness stuff since we spent most of our day trip there. Very professional, multi lingual, decent and funny. They organized another treatment in no time. Thank you! We will be back!
