I really loved the place—the ambience was lovely, and the front desk staff were welcoming. However, I didn’t fully enjoy the overall service during my stay, as it felt less proactive compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. For instance, when we asked about transportation to the golf park, we were informed that there was no shuttle available and were advised to take a blue cab instead. However, we were asked to cross the street to get one ourselves, even though it would have been much more convenient—especially since I was with my little sister—if the hotel had assisted in arranging the cab. Additionally, after requesting room cleaning, the mugs and glasses that had been used the previous night were still left in the room and were not replaced. We also brought some snacks but found that there were no utensils or plates available in the room. When we requested them, we were redirected to in-room dining, only to be told multiple times that we had called the wrong number. This was quite frustrating, as we were simply requesting basic utensils and plates. Lastly, I later learned that a friend who stayed the following day received complimentary chocolates, while we did not receive any complimentary amenities at all, despite being an Accor member. This added to the feeling that our stay was not given the same level of attention. Overall, the hotel has a great atmosphere and potential, but I believe the service could be improved by being more attentive and proactive to ensure a more consistent guest experience.

Everything was good except for our breakfast experience at Markt. We had breakfast at around 9:15 a.m., but several food selections were already unavailable. The restaurant was not crowded at the time, in fact, we were seated immediately upon arrival, so the limited availability was a bit disappointing. Refills were quite slow, and there seemed to be only a few staff on duty, possibly due to it being January 2. This resulted in delays in service and in attending to requests. Another unfortunate experience was overhearing kitchen staff shouting at each other, with one even using profanity. I hope the team can be more mindful, as guests can clearly hear these exchanges, especially Filipino guests who understand the language being used.

Our stay at Swissôtel during New Year’s Eve was truly excellent. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with a modern style. The view from our window was simply mesmerizing, adding to the overall charm of the experience. We first stayed here last New Year’s Eve, and that wonderful experience is the reason we keep coming back every year. It’s the perfect place for my family because we want to celebrate in a fun yet peaceful environment—not too noisy, but still festive while waiting for the New Year. The fireworks display was spectacular, just as magical as the first time we witnessed it. Without a doubt, we plan to return again next New Year’s Eve. I would also like to commend the staff for their dedication and professionalism. Even though they were working during the holiday, they remained cheerful and welcoming. From check-in to check-out, everyone carried out their duties with genuine smiles. Special thanks to Gwen at the reception, who assisted us in such an enthusiastic and warm manner—it made us feel immediately at home. Overall, our stay was memorable and filled with joy. Thank you so much, Swissôtel, for making our New Year’s celebration truly special.

We were accommodated in the check in immediately, had delicious welcome goodies. Front desk was very accommodating to all our request, and even updated us through phone call. Very nice and clean room and had the best view during the New Year firework show
