I booked through Agoda and called the hotel to request an early check-in before 2 PM due to a urgent meeting, and to ask if I could leave the key at the front office for my companion who would be arriving later that afternoon. My call was directed to the reservations department, but they said they couldn’t assist and told me to contact Agoda instead. It was confusing because when I called Agoda for options, I received the same response. I also asked if I could authorize my companion to check in on my behalf, but they still insisted I contact Agoda. I even explained that I didn’t mind if the room wasn’t ready since no one would be staying yet I only needed to check in early due to an unforeseen meeting and because I might not return until midnight. I called 4 times, and only during my last call right before 2 PM, when I was about to leave was I finally allowed to check in. It was not a good experience, especially since all I needed was a small favor and basic documentation, yet I had to make multiple calls and practically beg for assistance.

Upon check-in, we were already met with a warm and hospitable greeting from your front desk, Ms. Claire, and she was very knowledgeable of the Accor program, and explained to us the perks we can experience... makes me want to renew my membership again. For breakfast, we were also greeted with enthusiasm and genuine care by MARKT server Ms. Yeng, and was very attentive of our needs for the duration of our breakfast... A VIP experience all the way. We loved it.
