You definitely can’t beat the location of this hotel! Lovely warm welcome … free chocolate hour, free water bottle refilling station. Our room was large, bright, had excellent lighting and everything we needed. We were on the 4th floor overlooking the station and I was worried about street noise … but we couldn’t hear a thing! Super comfy bed and pillows — I slept like a baby :) Security seems good — you need to use your room key to get up the elevators. The only negatives? We were shocked at the quality of the bathroom towels — super thin, some with holes, stains on others. Oh, and our bathroom fan wasn’t working — we notified reception on the third day of our week-long stay, and maintenance looked at it, but they said “that’s just how it is” (very weak and doesn’t really help vent the bathroom).

We love staying at this hotel as it has easy access to Southern Cross and tram routes. Also has a decent pool and spa. Rooms excellent as always and staff are all lovely. We always enjoy a drink in the bar to people watch at the busy intersection of Bourke & Spencer. Chocolate hour is a nice bonus and the new time of 2pm is much better. Breakfast has improved so much since our last stay and we enjoyed the selections. My only negative is that butter, jams and Vegemite are in jars and not in individual serves. It’s disgusting as people do not use fresh serving ware so full of crumbs etc. Change this aspect of our next stay and I will be happy!

The hotel decor was very nice and I thought the chocolate time was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The room was clean with comfy beds and had an unusually large bathroom for its size. The room itself could have been laid out better and felt a bit small. I didn’t get to try the pool but I heard it was very nice. Breakfast was disappointing since it lacked variety and felt quite basic. The hotel is a little out of the way but being right beside both the tram and train stations made it easy to get around the city. Overall it was a very good stay with friendly service and nice details, not quite perfect but definitely worthy of four stars.

Hotel muy funcional y excelente opción si conectas tren o aeropuerto ya que está justo en frente de la estación de tren y autobuses, y también de la estación del SkyBus que conecta con el aeropuerto de Melbourne, a menos de 5 minutos andando. Habitación cómoda y funcional, buen wifi, piscina de agua caliente, sauna y jacuzzi para relajarse.
