Well, overall it’s nice for budget hotel no complain at all for services, amenities and location. But the rate it’s somehow is kind a expensive for “budget” title. The room is quiet compact, maybe around 12-13 m2. But everything is nicely fit in place. It’s only fit for 2 adults max. If you go with 2 adults + 1 kids below 8 yo maybe still enough but very tight. Location is quiet good, less than 80m to bus station directly to Harbour Front / Vivo City. From there you can go for MRT station or LRT via Vivo City to Sentosa Island. Around 500m from hotel, there is Seam Im Food Centre for meal, with various local food. Walk little bit further you can reach Harbour Front Centre and Vivo City Mall for meal, Singapore cruises, Singapore cable car station to Mount Faber or Sentosa Island. So, again if you need “budget” hotel near Sentosa this can be alternative.

Very good location, almost at bus stops on both sides, 5-7 minute walk to the MRT or 2 bus stops. A very good small eating place is there adjoining the hotel - open from 7-11. Room was quire small, as expected from a budget hotel, but had all the essentials. It was very clean & hot water & a/c was working perfectly. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

You get what you pay for, but even this was lacking. Checking in at 3pm 3 staff members were outside smoking - not an issue but after checking in I needed Wifi password, calls to reception went unanswered - went down - all outside again smoking. The rooms are tiny. I think this is a hotel for "short term" (hourly stays). A big sign offering discounts if you check in after 9pm seems to point this direction along with the plastic mattress. Rooms are tiny - and Singapore sized beds. Optimistically there was a folded suitcase stand in the room, but honestly, I would not have known where to put it. Shower is the small foot space infront of toilet. Also there are a bunch of chickens (really) that live outside, and they love to crow at about 5am. Having said it was clean, and checking out the staff member was attentive and nice.

The small rooms all made up for kind friendly and helpful staff. They are also helpful to my elderly parents. The cafe Fuel Plus behind the hotel and the trail up Mount Faber and the Henderson Wave, Hort Park and the links to all the trails made it a good stay. The bus stop outside have buses to Vivocity and Harbor Front Mrt and the gateway to Sentosa. All these is just within 3 minutes of journey time. Alternatively a 5-10 minute walk to Harborfront mrt. Convenient. Don’t mind the roosters as it will lulls you to sleep eventually. I had a very sound sleep and rest. Also the hiking makes it a healthy trip too.

Pro: Location is good. Stayed a night there to explore the Keppel Bay area and also southern ridge trail. Near Vivo city. Cons: Room is small. The hotel currently hosting those who are serving SHN and they didn’t dedicated a specific floor or area for this purpose, so, the guest in the room 2 doors away, and 3 doors way from my room, both were serving SHN. And maybe because of this, my room has cigarette smell since they were locked in the room with window which cannot be opened. And ya, there was roach in my room. One stay is more than enough and will never stay again. And if I was informed they are hosting SHN people, I would never taken the risk.
