Come here for the Food, People, Facilities and Location. Food is excellent, no doubt. Staff are nice. I am very thankful they have allowed rebooking without penalty due personal circumstances. The 2 hour swimming pool use allocation is very generous. Easy access to Tanjung beach for a morning walk. The room is a bit dated. The "room with a garden view" is a frustration. The "garden" fronting our room's window looks disheveled. For internarional travellers, the "garden" here is not representative of a Singaporean garden.

간만에 시티뷰에서 벗어나 동남아리조트에 온 듯한 느낌. 싱가포르 내에서 호캉스하려면 단연 최고의 호텔! 다만 방 입구의 문이 너무 거칠고 요란하게 닫혀 놀랬고 테이블에 개미가 다소 보여 이 부분은 개선이 필요하다.

The room (176) I was allocated looks run down and seems it has not been occupied for quite sometime. Cabinets door were dusty, Airborne dust can be seen against the room lights, bathroom floor was dirty with stains and the bed side lamp was flickering when turn on. It is not a very pleasant experience for my family and myself, and we don't think we will come back again.

객실 에어컨 청소가 미흡해 곰팡이 냄세가 났고, 수영장의 수질또한 좋지않았다. 수영장 근처의 화장실도 곰팡이가 많이 피어있었다. 심지어 체크인 카운터에서도 곰팡이 냄세가 진동했다. 그외 키즈클럽, 더클리프 레스토랑, 해안가의 접근성은 매우 좋았다

It's short getaway during Easter break. Great services by the hotel from check in until check out. This is our second time staying in this hotel and we still would love to come again. The shuttle bus is punctual. The access to the beach is good. Happy that they move the kids club to the main building.

It was our 3rd 3D2N staycay at Sofitel Sentosa, this time with my 3rd son, his wife & baby. Understand hotel was full house. Yet staff were quick to respond to pur requests. Kudos to staff. American breakfast were acceptable. Indian dinner at Kwee Zeen not so good.

We booked a 3D2N staycation in March to celebrate my husband’s birthday in the premium family suite. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Checking in and out was smooth; hotel room was clean and spacious; and the bed was really comfortable! We enjoyed the quiet environment within the hotel and its convenient location. We were also selected as the “Guest of The Day” with perks and that was a great surprise! If you drive, there’s a carpark within close proximity. If you don’t drive, you can take the tram from behind the hotel to head to the beaches and the tram station, as well as very regular shuttle buses. We felt the breakfast service and quality of food could be improved though. Also, it will be really nice if the hotel could accommodate a later check out timing during off peak periods.

We pull up the driveway of the hotel and we were greeted by a cheerful doorman who help us with our luggages. Unfortunately, our excitement ends there. We opened the doors to our rooms only to find out that it 'belonged' to Ms Geok(welcome message displayed on TV). The rustic wardrobe in 224 had holes in its doors, something that a number of the missing decorative knobs had left behind. The spacious bathrooms boast its iridescent mosaic tiles which featured some mildew. The rooms were of decent size abf clean but undoubtedly in need of an update. Our first impression of the hotel did not prepare us for what's to come. We headed to the sizeable pool that screams 'maintenance badly needed'. A large part of the black tiles in the pool were smeared with something that looks like white paint. The water filled with floating white slime and leaves a sappy feeling on the lips(pH imbalance). The grand corridors are always decorated with yellow cones stuck in the middle of the walkway (why they are there is anybody's guess, cos nothing seems to be happening). The whole place looks tired and badly in need of maintenance to restore it to its former glory. The Kwee Zeen was a disappointment. Menu for lunch & dinner are the same. Breakfast selections like pancake, waffle, cereals(just to name a few) are only available in the kids menu, adults enjoys them too, no??! What's worst, the staff are oblivious and badly needed service retraining. I felt like I was in a penitentiary when the waiter took our orders for dinner. They were unwelcoming. Our food were served to us, after a long wait, without even the minimum of pleasantries. There were only 2 tables of guests. At breakfast with only 6 tables of couples , the staff seemed more concerned to clear tables than to attend to guests needs. However, all is not lost. Amidst the huge disappointment there are gems. We were attended to by a bubbly & cheerful Ryan who not only checked us in. He also took the liberty to extend upgrade offer packages and took the time to introduce the facilities to us. He walked us to our rooms and gave us his direct line. He was like a butler to us. Everything we needed during our stay was arranged for us at our requests. This includes pool, gym and restaurants reservations. He even left us a thank you note at check out (his off day). Dining at the Cliff is a totally opposite to Kwee Zeen. The food was great although menu still somewhat limited. What makes the fantastic dining experience are the people who attended to us. They are warm, friendly and attentive. Very proactive in offering us selections that can be done without pork & lard too. Food was served quite fast even though they were running at high guests capacity. Heme who attended to us mostly, was helpful in making sure that our food were prepared omitting the wine & pork. His effort makes the culinary experience a very pleasant one. Amidst a crisis time like this, such staffs are needles in a haystack. Let alone retain them(head hunters are always looking for these qualities). We would like to extend our appreciation to Ryan who seems to be everywhere including Cliff restaurant, Hemeindra and The Cliff Team( Timothy, Von, Julianne, Faith, Scarlett) for providing excellent service and their effort of service recovery that compensate for the shortcoming of the hotel making our stay a very wonderful one. Well done Guys!!!

Great experience in Sofitel Sentosa. Perfect environment, Superb food at The Cliff and nice ambiance at the Bar. The Spa was just fantastic. Just 1 point which I think could be easily corrected : - Swimming chair mattress not clean

Came here for a staycation with my family where we booked a package inclusive of lunch, breakfast and dinner. We had lunch and breakfast at Kwee Zeen, the food was alright but we waited extremely long for the food to come - the fruit juice for breakfast took 20 mins and we waited almost 40 mins for our lunch appetisers to arrive even though there were few customers in the restaurant. Dinner at the Cliff was delicious, although the food took some time to arrive as well. Everything else was average.

It was a fantastic hotel and Hotel Staff were very helpful , one day stay became 14 days stay and I have really enjoyed the Indian Food which was fabulous in all the days. Improvement needed in the system and front office in terms of traceability of bills. Other than that everyone should try this Resort or hotel which is fabulous in location and the nature within itself and scenic views to see the peacocks just moving around the Hotel . Overall my rating was excellent and will come again and again if travel still being a restriction . My Kudos to the front office staff and staff of one touch and restaurant. There is nothing much we can expect more than this in Singapore at an isolated location in Sentosa

A Gem with a Flaw

This recent stay at the Sofitel Sentosa was once again a fantastic and rejuvenating break from the monotony of everyday life. The lodging is tip top as usual with every creature comfort available at your fingertips. Prior to checking out, I again enjoyed a memorable and soul-filling LUNCH at The Cliff, as usual impressed by the exquisite, amiable and impeccable service by both VON and HEME. The reception officer NATASHA also sorted out a check-out issue to my satisfaction by exhibiting that thoughtful flexibility goes a long way in keeping a frequent, elite guest loyal to the Accor brand. Notwithstanding the bouquets, we did face a very unhappy incident at The Cliff where we had made prior DINNER reservations for a party of five which included a Platinum member, a Silver member (both Accor Plus members) as well as an elderly granny of 94 years old who had inched her way to the restaurant from the car park. We had very much looked forward to a wonderful dining experience together and had gone as far as to reserve the delectable beef short ribs. Upon arrival, our Accor Plus dining certificate was refused as it was considered a festive period (day 12 of the Lunar New Year). The staff at The Cliff acknowledged that the dining reservations agent ought to have had informed us of this restriction. When queried later, the reception agent simply shrugged her shoulders and exclaimed, and I quote, "oh yah" (we should have known and should have advised). While we fully understand and respect the need for conditions attached to the usage of the Accor Plus dining certificates, it was a serious management flaw that ultimately ruined what would have had been a memorable evening with our elderly granny. The unfortunate incident did leave us with a bad taste as we all left the Sofitel that evening. I would urge the management to review its staff training guidelines to ensure that similar incidents would not be repeated especially since these coupons are offered to, and used by, Accor's most frequent and loyal clients.

1. The hotel’s commitment to provide quality service could be felt from the moment my room reservation was confirmed to the moment that we had checked out from the hotel. Though my reservation was affected by SHN issues, Sofitel was able to resolve it without causing too much inconvenience to us and that was assuring. 2. The staff was friendly to explain the check-in & information. It was completed as a breeze. Feel honour as a Accor Gold member to be given a late check-out and was assigned to a room that was upgraded with the garden view. The room also met our requirements and is the same as shown in the website picture. With the present convid climate, we felt assure that we would be safe in the hotel premises. 3. Complimentary fresh fruits and chocolates were also provided. Thumb up👍. A vase of beautiful fresh flowers would be preferred. My opinion is to remove the photo of the lady’s face that is hang on the wall. 4. Pleasant and enjoyable meal at Kwee Zeen, Le bar but not so pleasant at the Cliff restaurant. All restaurants has limited choices of vegetarian food and we are puzzle that a five star hotel restaurants do not cater variety of vegetarian meals. Wish to have more vegetarian dishes. We also felt the background music that was played at the two restaurants except Le Bar were somehow did not blend to the ambience. 5. We didn’t get the housekeeping to clear and clean the rooms after the first night stay and the housekeeping staff called and checked if we required room cleaning service and top up any items in the evening. It was a warmth gesture. 6. It is easy accessible to public transports and shopping malls from the hotel using the free hotel shuttle bus service. 7. Overall nice stay at hotel and only setback is somehow hotel loses the human touch. 8. Accor plus members were not able to enjoy the dinning benefits due to blackout period. It was disappointing.

The resort has beautiful architecture with friendly staff, nice bar (Le-bar our favorite) & restaurant view (Zee Wee) but the condition needs alot of improvement - including hotel corridor, walls, lift, toilet - Very old & dirt marks everywhere and leaves uncleaned. On our arrival, we need to use the service lift to go to the room - which was dark, dirty & not good impression for a 5 stars/luxury resorts. The hall leading to our rooms are uncleaned with leaves, dirt (feels like understaffed and none has cared to sweep when the guest arrive). Has been an accor membership for a while, quite suprised that they can leave their hotel condition like this. For the room, love the design, comfortable bed/pillow but the facilities are old including - water drain in the toilet worked poorly. The carpet is with coffee spill marks and old. Hope the resort can solve it so they can really get back their 5 star image, otherwise it should be rated as 3.5-4 star max despite the room rate.

Probably the worst hotel we encountered so far. I booked a prestige suite to celebrate my wife’s birthday and it turned out to be a complete disaster. Firstly, we were given a room facing some construction. The knocking and drilling were generating so much noise that we could hardly rest. Hotel should really do their due diligence and not let guest stay in such room. Additionally, on the website they stated that they have “dedicated team ambassadors” which would assist 24 hours a day. The in room dining closes at 12 with last order at 11.45pm. My wife requested a bucket of ice from them at 11.50pm and was coldly rejected. Staff by the name of Eric was very rude, he mentioned that the ice machine was already closed and there are no ways he can get ice for us. He demanded us to be “understanding”. Ironically, taking into consideration of location of the hotel, at an isolated corner of Sentosa, and the nearest shop that we can get ice is at least 10 mins drive away, I guess they should be the “understanding” one. I made my way down to the restaurant personally to check if he was speaking the truth, guess what, i was readily given a bucket of ice. I’m puzzled if the staff was speaking the truth or he was just too plain lazy. Additionally, we wrote an email feedback to them on this incident and there were no reply from them. Thank you for making my wife birthday a memorable one. It will be the last time we will be patronising your hotel.

Close-to-the-City Sanctuary

A very nice hotel that is located slightly off the city but offered the sanctuary like hotels far from the city. However, since the location is in Sentosa Island where public transportation is very limited; therefore, guests need to manage their expectation when going from one place to another in the island. It took longer time compare to going to the city. Walking is probably faster if you don't mind the humidity. Room was clean with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom, and provided with a real 5-star amenities (Nespresso machine, etc). Check-in and check-out slightly took longer time but it was expected due to COVID-19 situation. Overall service was nice, except in the restaurant during lunch time. It could be because of understaffed but we noticed that some waiters had no basic hospitality. We understood if they were busy but at least they need to acknowledge our call with "just a moment, I'll be there for you" or as simple as "just a second...", instead of ignoring our call (and yes, they ignored us waving as well).

Hotel staff are extremely hospitable and friendly. Unfortunately food at the lounge and breakfast buffet was unimpressive. The buffet spread is small (probably due to the fact that it is table service and they could not afford to handle a large spread) I was informed that minibar is inclusive for my room type but the items were not inside when I checked in. We called and the staff told us that they will only put it in if we request. Overall I feel that service was not at the usual level for a Diamond member.

Every year my wife and I will stay at Sofitel Sentosa once or twice since dining/staying around 30 years ago. Due to covid-19, we unable to travel out in 2020. So our first choice was stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and countdown 2021. Frankly, we never disappointed this resort ambience, hilltop vegetation surrounding. Cool swimming pool. Nice The Cliff restaurant. Friendly and courteous GM, managers and staffs. We highly recommend this resort with our expectations. The service was great, but unfortunately many of the luxuries and services you expect from 5* hotels weren't there, making the stay just average. Having breakfast in the conference center isn't really what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The manager told us that the usual breakfast restaurant was closed because they had +300 bookings for Xmas lunch and needed time to get everything ready! So, we the hotel guests were ushered off for a 3* breakfast experience, so the hotel could cash in on multiple Xmas lunch sittings! Disappointing.
