I had a great stay...Staff was helpful, the room was nice. The restaurant was fantastic. It's very close to the TGV station, which is a bit out of town.

Nice but small rooms and a drive into town

The hotel is a short drive into the town and main tourist attractions and has parking available. The decor is nice, but the room was very small. It was hard to get into suitcases with very limited floor space. There was only a curtain separating the bathroom and bedroom sections rather than a solid wall. The spa facilities were nice (not included in room rate though). Breakfast was fairly good (buffet style) but was in an open-plan restaurant/reception and the atmosphere was impacted by a large & loud group of 50+ stood having drinks in the reception. It felt more of a business event than holiday breakfast.

Comfortable Stay

Although not exactly in the centre of Avignon, staying away from the hustle turned out to be good as we could relax a bit more. The rooms here are as you would expect from a Mercure, clean, modern and comfortable. Sufficiently spacious room, bright and well lit. There is a decent sized swimming pool - if we had more time, we would have made use of it and perhaps tried the spa too.

A very poor hotel!

We chose the hotel because it was convenient for catching the TGV . Our experience was awful! There was no separate bathroom in the room - only a curtain. The shower sprayed everywhere. The pool chairs were filthy. We were awoken very early by a fire alarm. The fire exit route was blocked by linen baskets. We were offered a refund which we didn’t receive. We do bot recommend this hotel!
