I really wish I could’ve given this Hotel five stars. The common parts were beautiful. Never had to search for a seat to sit to have a drink. Breakfast was the same easy the food was nice and the dinning room was lovely. My complaint is with the bedrooms, you either go to heaven or to hell yes I can repeat that your room is either heaven or hell, sadly my room was hell, red floor to ceiling, welcome to hell, scribbled on the walls suicide notes hanging from the chandelier. I can’t begin to tell you how upsetting it was ,for the life of me. I have no idea why they have chosen to make more than half their rooms, hell

My son and I travelled to Florence for a wedding and a birthday celebration. 25 hrs was an excellent choice of hotels. It was perfect for a multigenerational trip. Young, hip , yet sophisticated and luxurious . the rooms were a great size, the staff was incredible. always helpful and friendly. We spent almost a week there and the staff recognized us and inquired about our stay. location was perfect as well as the on-site dining options. I look forward to returning and visiting other 25 hour hotels ! thanks for a great trip . Amy

Truely awful hotel, rip off price for tacky substandard rooms. Tiles in bathroom so sharp if you slipped it would slice you like a cheese grater. Flooded bathroom so you sit on toilet with feet in water. Bedding not changed. Knat bites. Sockets falling off walls. Find a proper hotel nothing works. Sink does not drain! Lights so dim you can barely shave. No place to put toiletries . Trust me give this place a miss!

A strange place. The rooms and floors are arranged as portions of hell or heaven, with appropriate motifs. Not knowing the set up from anything I had read beforehand I booked us into a hellish room- everything was colored black or red- it was really weird. The hallway outside our room had a recoded "loop" of someone speaking ominously in Italian. I was able to move to a 'heavenly' room, at a price increase; the change was worth the expense. We ate at the restaurant, the food was good but the service was uneven- acceptable to utterly terrible. The price was generally good, but it's trying too hard to be a "memorable" hotel through quirkiness instead of service and value.

I was on the fence about this hotel but I’m so happy that I stayed here. This hotel was perfect in so many ways. The common areas are spectacular. Beautifully decorated. The breakfast in the morning was a fantastic start to our day. The location was perfect. It was within five minutes of all the luxury brand stores. A few more minutes away and you run into the Duomo. A hop skip and a jump and you are crossing the Ponte Vecchio bridge and into Oltrarno. Everything was literally less than fifteen walking minutes away in each direction. Technically this is considered a hotel in the train station district which is not in a very picturesque area but the hotel is on the very outskirts of it, if at all. But its close proximity means a taxi to/from the train is less than $15 and much more convenient than walking with luggage. The hotel’s location is filled with excellent restaurants and wine bars. It’s a beautiful mix of old world character and charm with a sophisticated cosmopolitan vibe. It is exactly what I pictured Florence to be and more. But the hotel….Wow. I was worried that the hell/heaven theme might be too cheesy. But trust me, it works. The lounge area has a vibe that is so beautiful at night and great just to sit back on the comfy couches to relax and have drinks and admire the surroundings. But there are also other areas to explore such as the reading room with a billiard table and a wall full of vinyl records to choose from and play. There is an outdoor cafe that was good for light snacks and drinks or just grab to go. There is a more formal indoor restaurant which I did not try. As for accommodations, I chose the Heaven room with a small terrace. It overlooked a garden area. The room was not super large and a bit narrow compared to American standards but the bed was large and “heavenly” comfortable. The retro decor in the room was really pleasing. The shower was perfect with a seating area that was soooo convenient. The separate toilet room was a little strange because the door was a bit tricky to fully close and made out of smoked glass that didn’t allow for a lot of privacy. This is something that I read about in other reviews and I could see how this might make some people uncomfortable if traveling with less acquainted companions. The coffee maker was not easy to use but it encouraged us to get going and try the delicious coffee downstairs. There was not a ton of space to store clothes but we made do and it didn’t hinder our stay in any way. We loved it here and will definitely want to come back when in Florence.
