The hotel is lovely and out intentions were to have a fun stay with our dog. I should have researched more. There are no spaces for the dog to go to the bathroom and the complimentary breakfast was the worst thing Ive ever eaten-like it was cooked and then smothered in grease. My husband got sick from it. We should have sent it back but it being free and us needing to check out there was no time for any of that. The hotel is too pricey to not be treated like royalty. The holds and check in pricing is confusing and annoying. The extra pricing for parking and the dog are understandable but just chip away at your wallet. The entire experience just didnt feel like luxury.

This was my first visit to Cincinnati. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and fun. The art was interesting, the restaurant was good. And the penguin was the best.

We booked through Chase sapphire reserve program as part of the special hotels “the Edit” program. I had stayed once before in 2023 and found it beautiful and cool. This time our room was in need of repair - blinds broken, light bulb out, smelled musty, empty bathroom toiletry holders (that would be for Q tips or shower caps), no body wash, no hair dryer. Two night stay and housekeeping didn’t come (and the hotel guidance said they come every day. No option given to skip). The front desk staff wasn’t rude but also not warm.

Overall, I had a good experience at the hotel. The location was great, the artwork was beautiful, and the rooms were clean. The only downsides were that the rooms stayed a bit warm and couldn’t be cooled further, and the parking was expensive and not included. Aside from that, it was a really nice stay.
