A peaceful gem in Lima — exceptional service and comfort

We stayed at this hotel in San Isidro from December 22nd through January 7th and were genuinely blown away by the entire experience. After such a long stay, we got a real feel for the place, and honestly, it was perfect for what we needed. The location struck the right balance: residential and quiet, yet surrounded by excellent restaurants, charming cafes, independent boutiques, and a grocery store just a block away. It offered a calm, safe retreat after days spent out and about visiting family or exploring the city. But what made our stay truly special was the team. Everyone we encountered, from front desk to housekeeping, was warm, attentive, and kind. We always felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. A special thank you to Barnaby, Shirley, Braulio, and the rest of the team, who were consistently gracious and helpful. On one occasion, we needed to leave Lima for a few days but planned to return and didn’t want to fully move out of the room, we were offered a very thoughtful solution that made things so much easier for us. That level of proactiveness and hospitality really stayed with us. The room was clean, the bed so comfortable, and the hotel amenities well-maintained throughout. Every interaction, from a simple good morning to the more complex logistics, was handled with care and kindness. We felt at home. We’re deeply grateful to the entire team for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located place to stay in Lima. Truly an amazing value.

The hotel is lean and in a quiet neighborhood. The room was spacious, clean and it was very quiet. The breakfast was phenomenal! Braulio at the front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful.

Manto Hotel Lima is small, cosy and counts with a great team. Since our first moment at the hotel me and my husband were treated with care and consideration. We were struggling, for instance, with the Internet access. Without asking for help, we were helped. A special thanks for Bráulio and Shirley.

Marcos is an excellent manager who thinks about the most challenging moments: arrival and departure. Arrival was pleasant with him asking about details of the trip and offering amenities to enhance the trip. At departure, everything was ready as promised to ensure a smooth departure. The rooms are modern, elegant, and very clean.
