Despite the official check-in time of 2:00 pm, I arrived at 3:00 pm after travelling from far, yet one of my rooms was still not ready. I was asked to wait, which was extremely disappointing after a long journey. The supervisor eventually upgraded me to another room, but unfortunately the issues continued from there. When I entered the room, the toilet had a very strong drainage smell. I immediately informed the staff and requested a room change multiple times (at least five times). Instead of resolving the issue, housekeeping only sprayed air freshener, and the smell continued throughout my stay. Another serious concern was the door lock not working. When I left the room, the door would not lock. I was told an engineer would check it when I returned. Although the engineer came, he could not fix the lock, and I ended up sleeping in a room that could not be locked, which felt unsafe and extremely uncomfortable. Furthermore, upon check-in, both rooms had empty minibars, no fruit baskets, and no welcome amenities, which are expected from a five-star hotel. Even after informing your staff, no one came to refill the minibar or provide the amenities. Overall, my experience was far below the standards expected from a highly reputed hotel like Mövenpick. I kindly request you to investigate this matter seriously and take appropriate action to ensure such issues do not happen again. I look forward to your response and a satisfactory resolution.

Facility is nice but staff needs to be more courteous and guest friendly. Housekeeping staff needs proper training.
